Smart home technology is viewed as a combination of techniques and applications,consisting of microelectronic technique,wireless communication technique,embedded technique and automatic control technique,and so on.The smart home applications target at more fine,safe and effective home life via integrated management that is done by connecting other electronic systems with smart home system.Focusing on real-time monitoring and automatic feedback of indoor smart home environment,in this thesis,I proposed an Android based smart home monitoring system by using software engineering principles and methods.First,a detailed requirement specification of functional requirements and non-functional requirements will be presented in Chapter 1 according to software engineering principles.Accordingly,the functional and performance goals of the proposed system will be determined.Second,with the commercial off-the-shelf(COTS)sensors and microprocessors,the design solution on hardware subsystem will be provided in Chapter 2.An introduction and description on microprocessor STM32,module TLN13UA06,data format,sensors,and relay have been presented detailly.Third,from the perspective of system functionality and human machine interaction,the design and implementation of user-end soft sub system will be presented in Chapter 3.Specifically,this chapter describes in detail the Android development environment,data storage,human machine interaction and data communication,and so forth.Last,in order to test the functional and non-functional performance of the proposed system,a group of comprehensive test results will be provided in Chapter 4.The test results are used to reveal the functional and performance aspects of the proposed system.In short,numerous practical tests have shown that the proposed system meets the set goal,which is able to monitor indoor environmental parameters with hardware subsystem and the minored data will be displayed on smartphone where the soft subsystem runs.Moreover,the system has a simple,beautiful and practical human machine interface as well as obtains reasonable design,perfect functionality,and good performance.
