This paper mainly studies the forward analysis method of the lower limit mechanism of a light bus sliding door.In the early stage of product development,the lower limit mechanism of the sliding door of the bus is developed with the reverse design method.Due to the unreasonable structural design,combined with the user habits of differentiation and the complexity of vehicle driving conditions,the failure of the lower limit mechanism of the sliding door occurred and was listed as an important topic of quality improvement,after the vehicle was launched to the market and the sales promotion.This paper analyzes the parts according to the way of thinking of the forward development of product.First,the environment of use and the objective performance requirements are analyzed,with the needed forces of the limit mechanism for opening and closing the door are calculated in different working conditions.Then,CATIA,ADAMS and ABAQUS software are applied to perform the product structure design and analysis.The rigidity-flexibility coupled model for multibody dynamics simulation is constructed,with which the contact force between the limit reed and the roller is determined.The existing structure is analyzed and optimized with the methods of finite element analysis,with the improved design validated with the test.The main contents of the research work are as follows:1.The simplified mechanics models are constructed,with which the target ranges of the limit force of the lower limit mechanism of the sliding door are obtained for different working conditions.2.The rigidity flexibility couple dynamic models are constructed in ADAMS software,with which the forces of the spring reed for opening and closing the door are determined.3.The finite element models are constructed in ABAQUS software to simulate the stiffness and strength of the reeds of the lower limit mechanism,and to improve the structure according to the analysis results.4.A new set of test method is designed,in which the small punching machine is applied to perform the fatigue durability test of the spring reed.Based on the related study results of conventional vehicle doors,this paper focuses on the research on the forward analysis method of sliding door lower limit mechanism.The design calculation,simulation and test verification are used to guarantee the rationality and reliability of the research.The research not only helps to achieve the quality improvement of products,improves the market satisfaction and the brand influence of the company,but also has a reference significance for the researches of other similar structures.
