Chinese urban rail transit has developed rapidly in the past decade,which has alleviated the problem of urban traffic congestion.However,urban rail transit still has two prominent problems of high energy consumption and high operating cost.Power consumption is the main cause of energy consumption of urban rail transit,and 45%-60% of power consumption is the train traction operation.In order to reduce the traction energy consumption and operating costs,the influence factors of urban rail transit train energy consumption and traction energy consumption calculation method are researched to explore a new approach of reducing urban rail transit energy consumption.To this end,the traction calculation and energy consumption analysis of subway trains is investigated.The main work of the thesis is as follows:1.The standard safety brake model of the train is studied to build the train speed adjustment model.The parameters of target speed,common brake trigger speed,emergency brake trigger speed and limit speed of line civil engineering are analyzed.The working principle of train traction/system is studied,and the energy flow of the moving train and clarifies the calculation process of the train energy consumption are analyzed.2.The multi-mass train stress model and the single-mass train stress model are established.The calculation equations for the running train traction,running resistance and braking force are obtained based on the single-mass train stress modelling.According to the acting force conditions,the train running state can be classified into three states: traction state,idle state and braking state.The force analysis of these three operating states is carried out,and the train motion equation is acquired.Based on this,the metro vehicle characteristic data is used to establish the energy consumption calculation model based on the current characteristics of the subway vehicle and the energy consumption calculation based on the train operation model.3.The MFC software of Visual C++ platform is developed to design the train traction computer software.The data integration and storage is achieved by utilizing the Microsoft Access database.The train line and vehicle parameters input is realized,and the train acceleration,interval idle running and stop-in are simulated to achieve the calculation of train traction and operational energy analysis.4.Comparative analysis between the actual operational data of Shenzhen Metro Line 5 in 2017 and the traction calculation data calculated by the proposed method is implemented,and the calculated error is 3.57%.Then the error factors are analyzed.The performance of the proposed traction calculation model and the running energy calculation model is verified.According to,the method of energy-saving optimization for train operation is developed considering the influence factors of energy consumption.Meanwhile,the traction calculation is carried out:a)Optimization is begun with the line design stage: the two 28-inch uphill on the line are optimized to two slopes of 20‰ and 18‰ of the Shenzhen Bay Line 5 extension line Mawan Station to Qianwan Park Station.Traction energy consumption is decreased from 15.01 kWh to 12.38 kWh,saving 17.52% of energy consumption.b)Optimization is begun with the operational stage: during the off-peak operation period, the train section running speed is reduced from 37km/h to 30km/h,and the final traction energy consumption per kilometer is reduced from 12.38 kWh to 10.87 kWh,saving energy by 12.20%.
