In the power system,the reasonable allocation of reactive power compensation device is very important for the safety,stability and economic operation of the power system.In order to prevent accidents caused by damage to overhead lines and meet the needs of urban construction,further beautify the urban environment,optimize urban planning,save land resources,ensure the normal use of electricity,and ensure the safety of people's lives and property,the government units and power enterprises decided to adopt the underground cable transformation of overhead transmission lines.When overhead lines are cabled and new cable lines are put into operation,the reactive power problem of power grid will become more prominent.The existing reactive power compensation configuration standard will no longer be applicable and should be changed accordingly.In order to adapt to the development direction of power grid cable construction,this paper will re-examine the current reactive compensation configuration standards to ensure the safe and stable power grid and economic operation.Firstly,the current implementation of the reactive power compensation specification in the power grid was investigated,and the current situation of the configuration of reactive power compensation equipment in substations was understood combined with the actual urban power grid.The operation data of reactive power compensation equipment were collected,and its operation and utilization were mastered.The rationality of the current configuration of reactive power compensation equipment was analyzed,and the necessity of improving the configuration standard of reactive power compensation was proposed.Secondly,the typical structure model of 110 kV is established,the evaluation index is put forward,the simulation research is carried out,the capacity/inductive reactive power allocation ratio of 110 kV substation under different cable construction degree of line is summarized and analyzed.The corresponding type of recommended value of reactive power compensation configuration is given,and the differential configuration method of reactive power compensation of substation under cable construction of urban line is studied.Thirdly,through the establishment of a typical 10 kV medium voltage line model,the paper analyzes the differences of reactive power compensation configuration of medium voltage line under different grid types,different cable construction degrees and different load characteristics,gives the corresponding recommended value of reactive power compensation configuration,and studies the reactive power compensation configuration method of medium voltage line under cable construction.Finally,using the actual 110 kV grid and 10 kV line,the recommended values of capacity/inductive reactive compensation and 10 kV line reactive compensation configuration are verified.
