The working medium of water hydraulic transmission technology is treated fresh water or seawater,which can effectively avoid the environmental pollution and fire caused by oil medium;and the water medium has obvious advantages such as safety,no pollution to the environment,wide source and low cost;It is a trend of future development and has very important prospects and significance.This paper designs a separate two-dimensional(2D)piston water hydraulic pump.The main research work is as follows:(1)Explain in detail the working principle of the split two-dimensional(2D)piston water hydraulic pump,and check some core components such as pistons and cams.The overall structure was modeled using UG 3D modeling software.The parts with poor strength are checked,and the workbench simulation software is used to simulate and analyze the stress distribution and deformation,and meet the design requirements.(2)Explains the working principle of traditional mechanical seals.And on this basis to improve,to achieve a new mechanical seal that can be applied to axial rotation and axial reciprocating conditions.The calculation of the end face specific pressure,the spring specific pressure and the calculation of the bellows and spring in the mechanical seal are introduced.(3)Kinematic analysis of a split two-dimensional(2D)piston pump.The change of the linear velocity at the contact point between the roller and the cam under different speed and load conditions is obtained;and the axial force and shear force between the two are obtained.(4)The leakage mechanism of the pump was analyzed first,and the volumetric efficiency was calculated accordingly.The mechanical friction loss was analyzed in detail,and the total efficiency was 86.1%.Then,the hydraulic system simulation software was used to successfully establish the complete hydraulic system modeling of the separate water hydraulic pump.According to the simulation results,when the two chambers of the piston of the split water hydraulic pump are interchanged,the occurrence of backflow in different conditions and the corresponding changes in the pressure in the chamber are obtained.(5)The running test and characteristic test were carried out on the finished prototype,which proved the rationality of the design.Compared with the traditional plunger pump,the split piston water hydraulic pump has a huge breakthrough in structure.The working chamber and the transmission parts are separated by a mechanical seal.It can effectively reduce leakage and increase pump life.
