| With the gradual deepening of research of autism spectrum disorder(ASD),sensory processing disorder has been included as a core symptom in diagnostic criteria for autism spectrum disorders. The impact of effective early intervention is far-reaching.Domestic and international researches found that ASD children generally have sensory processing disorders, which makes them difficult to respond appropriately to certain sensory information in their lives, thus affects their social and communication development. At present, multisensory training is often used in the intervention of sensory processing disorder in ASD children, while domestic researches on this aspect are relatively rare. Therefore, how to carry out effective multisensory training has become an urgent problem for the research of sensory processing disorder in ASD children. The first part of this study examines the prior literature, analyzing the visual, auditory and other sensory processing disorders of ASD children. Then, this study combs multisensory integration disorders of ASD children, including McGurk effect, ventriloquist effect,double-flash illusion and rubber hand illusion. Also, this study introduces the the theoretical model of multisensory integration, including modality precision hypothesis, statistical optimization model and time window of integration. On this basis,we analyzes the study of multisensory training and its application in the intervention of ASD children. The second part of this study is based on visual processing disorder of ASD children in their daily life. This study designs the multisensory training framework for ASD children. We focus on the ability to accept food and changes in location, putting forward a targeted multisensory training program. This program has combined single channel stimulation with multi-channel stimulation and from special training to comprehensive training, and it can interfere the visual processing disorder of ASD children effectively. In particular,we used single case multiple baseline design, selecting four research participants from a rehabilitation hospital in Zhejiang Province.According to the multisensory training program proposed in this study,we carry out the intervention of multisensory training to ASD children. Our results show that:(1)The multisensory training programme proposed by us can effectively increase the number of food and location changes which ASD children can accept, also can improve their perceived ability.(2)The effect of multisensory training on visual and auditory perception is more obvious.(3)Different ASD children show different ability of responding and maintaining the effects of the intervention. This study enriches the theory of sensory processing disorder in ASD children. In this study, the multisensory training scheme based on ASD children’s visual processing disorder is effective. The program is conducive to the development of their ability to adapt to life, also helps ASD children better integrated into the mainstream society. |
