A Study Of Media Responsibilities In Doctor-patient Relationship From The Perspective Of Health Communication

The issue of doctor-patient relationship has always been a hot topic of public concern,and also the focus of news media.In recent years,frequent violent incidents such as killing medicine and wound medicine often cause public concern and even cause social panic.The public is in urgent need of a medical environment with a harmonious doctor-patient relationship.As an important channel for public access to information,the media bears the great responsibility of guiding public opinion,creating a good social environment,maintaining the security of public order and building a harmonious society.The relationship between doctors and patients is a topic of national concern.Media participation is essential.What are the responsibilities of the media in building doctor-patient relationship and how are they performing?The pursuit of health is the eternal theme of human society.The rapid development of health communication research shows that health issues related to everyone’s interests have been a topic of national concern.This paper focuses on the hot topic of Chinese society,"doctor-patient relationship".From the perspective of health communication,the news reports about the relationship between doctors and patients in the southern metropolis newspaper in recent five years are the research objects.Through quantitative research and content analysis,the current situation of media responsibility in the doctor-patient relationship reporting is excavated,and the lack of media responsibility is found out,and the semi structural interview is used.On the basis of literature research and audience cognition,this paper tries to analyze the causes of the lack of media responsibility and the impact on the relationship between doctors and patients,and puts forward some substantive countermeasures and suggestions on the construction of harmonious doctor-patient relationship from the media responsibility.From the perspective of health communication,the theory of social responsibility,the theory of mimicry environment,and the theory of agenda setting are used as the basic theoretical framework of the research.The research methods are studied with the methods of literature research,content analysis and semi structural interview,so as to get the comprehensive and true results of the research.Besides taking the role of building a reality for the public,the media should also focus on its own supervision and guidance function.To study the media responsibility in the doctor-patient relationship,on the one hand,it promotes the journalists to adhere to the professional ethics in the doctor-patient relationship,to fulfill the media responsibility,to build a harmonious relationship between doctors and patients and to promote the harmonious and stable development of the society.On the other hand,through empirical research,this study explores the current situation of the media responsibility of doctor-patient relations represented by the Southern Metropolis Daily,enriches the latest developments in the related academic research,and provides a certain research basis for the research on media responsibility in the future doctor-patient relationship.
