Objective:To study the relationship between Matrix metalloproteinases and acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction, and to discuss the correlation and pathological and physiological mechanisms of matrix metalloproteinase family members and myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury and ventricular remodeling. It was also observed whether ventricular remodeling occurred in patients with acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Methods:A total of 100 subjects were selected, the experimental group and the control group were 50 cases, and the subjects of the experiment Group were: the first patients with acute ST elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI),the patients admitted to hospital and underwent percutaneous coronary intervention,The subjects of the study of the Health control group were: selecting the healthy subjects in our hospital during the same time period, and excluding the subjects of the basic diseases which could affect the final results of the experiment. The clinical data of two groups of patients and health control group were collected, and then the MMP-8,MMP-9 and MMP-2 indexes of venous blood in two groups were determined by Elisa method, and the data of each index were counted. To analyze the correlation between our experimental purposes and MMP-8,MMP-9,MMP-2,and through a fixed and experienced ultrasound practitioner to examine the subjects, collect the echocardiography data of each study object, and collect the data two times. The patients were collected after the acute myocardium was collected immediately after 3 months after the operation, then the echocardiography and various indexes were statistically analyzed, and the changes of ventricular structure and function after underwent interventional surgery were observed.Results:1.In patients with acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction, the content of matrix metalloproteinase-8 increased(P < 0.05),and the patients received percutaneous coronary intervention immediately after admission. It was found that the content of matrix metalloproteinase-8 increased further(P < 0.05),and the content of matrix metalloproteinase-8 increased significantly 3 months after operation(P < 0.05).2.Matrix metalloproteinases-9,Matrix Metalloproteinase-2 was associated with acute st elevation myocardial infarction, both of which were elevated in different degrees(P<0.05),and the contents of matrix Metalloproteinase-9 and Matrix Metalloproteinase-2 were measured 3 months after operation. Both were found to be further elevated(P<0.05).3.Echocardiography showed that the cardiac function of patients with acute myocardial infarction decreased significantly after operation(P < 0.05),the ejection fraction of heart decreased after operation(P < 0.05),and the left ventricular end-systolic and end-diastolic diameter increased after operation. The thickness of left ventricular anterior and posterior wall decreased and ventricular wall became thinner(P < 0.05)..Conclusions:1.We can use matrix metalloproteinase-8 as a clinical laboratory data to detect myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury and diagnose the disease at an early stage.2.Matrix metalloproteinase—2 and 9 Can also be used as an indicator to diagnose the occurrence of disease and assess whether ventricular remodeling occurs in patients.3.After percutaneous coronary intervention, ventricular remodeling is inevitable in some patients with acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction.
