| Objective To investigate the difference of postoperative subjective perceptions of unilateral knee arthroplasty(UKA)and total knee arthroplasty(Knee arthroplasty)in patients with knee osteoarthritis. The index of amnesia index(Forgotten joint scores,FJS)scoring system analysis of the difference between the two. Methods A total of 60 patients with knee osteoarthritis treated with unilateral knee joint UKA and TKA in our hospital from January 2014 to January 2017 were retrospectively analyzed and divided into UKA group and TKA group 30 patients in the UKA group, including 18 males and 12 females, aged 55-76 years, with an average age of(63.9±6.7)years and an average body mass index of(22.4±1.5)kg/m~2.TKA group had 17 males,13 females, aged 55-75 years, with an average of(62.6±5.6)years and an average body mass index of(22.0±1.1)kg/m~2.The FJS scores and the American Special Operations Hospital(HSS)score of the two groups at 1 year after surgery and at the last follow-up were recorded respectively by means of telephone interview,follow-up visit and outpatient visits.Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 16.0software,Assess their differences. Results There was no significant difference in preoperative general information(gender distribution, age and BMI)and clinical data(HSS score,Ahlback staging)between the two groups. All of these patients were followed up for 12-38 months with an average of(18.3±3.9)months.Patients postoperative knee function and subjective feelings have significantly improved. The FJS score of the UKA group was(70.6±3.3)at 1 year after follow-up and increased to(71.8±3.2)at the final follow-up(P=0.165).The FJS score at 1-year follow-up in the TKA group was(59.3±3.1))Points at the last follow-up(59.8±2.4)points(P=0.415).There was significant difference between the two groups in the same follow-up period(P=0.000)There was no significant difference in scores between the same follow-up time(P>0.05).The UKA group had a HSS score of(85.6±2.0)at the 1-year follow-up and an increase of(90.1±1.8)at the last follow-up.The HSS score at 1-year follow-up in the TKA group was(80.6±2.2)(89.4±1.5)at the last follow-up.Therefore,the HSA score of the UKA group was significantly better than that of the TKA group(P=0.000)at 1-year follow-up.However,at the last follow-up,the HSS scores There was no significant difference between the scores(P=0.078).All the patients underwent incision for first-degree healing. All the patients underwent revision surgery during the follow-up without complications such as periprosthetic infection, loose prosthesis, dislocation, and joint stiffness. Conclusions This study shows that in the treatment of medial compartment osteoarthritis of the knee, patients receiving UKA had a better subjective experience and a higher degree of self-esteem than those receiving TKA,with an initial effect more pronounced. |
