Purpose The cone beam CT was used to measure the soft and hard tissue thickness of the labial side of the maxillary anterior teeth and to analyze the correlation between them and their sex, height, weight and BMI.Methods 80 students from Anhui Medical University in 2016~2017 were selected as subjects, and the maxillofacial CBCT scanning and three-dimensional reconstruction were carried out.The thickness of the soft tissue of the tooth axis sagittal image measurement of corresponding teeth: labial determination of 5 points(1,2 mm from the gingival and alveolar crest at the crest of the ridge above the 1 and 2 mm);in the hard tissue of tooth axis sagittal images corresponding to the tooth thickness measurement determination of 4 points: labial(apex, root and alveolar crest root at 2 mm and 1 mm).The correlation between the thickness of hard and soft tissue and its sex, height, weight and BMI was analyzed. Results The thickness of the incisors at 5 soft tissue points were(0.84±0.18),(1.18±0.21),(1.44±0.20),(0.62±0.14),(0.74±0.17)mm,and the lateral incisors were(0.78±0.15),(1.01±0.17),(1.27±0.19),(0.54±0.13),(0.73±0.18)mm,and the caniners were(0.79±0.15),(1.05±0.18),(1.30±0.19),(0.51±0.13),(0.60±0.17)mm.The thickness of middle incisors at4 hard tissue points were(2.21±0.53),(0.57±0.17),(0.62±0.14),(0.65±0.15)mm,and that of lateral incisorswere(1.36±0.74),(0.41±0.16),(0.58±0.70),(0.65±0.19),and that of canines were(1.40±0.61),(0.44±0.15),(0.70±0.21),(0.75±0.21)mm.The thickness of soft tissue in the gingival area and alveolar mucosa in the maxillary anterior labium was significantly larger than that in the female(P <0.05).The maxillary central incisor labial thickness was greater in males than in females(P <0.05).There was a positive correlation between the thickness of soft and hard tissue at the labial side of maxillary canines(correlation coefficient: 0.344,0.225).The thickness of the alveolar mucosa was positively correlated with BMI(correlation coefficient: 0.283).The thickness of hard tissue in maxillary central incisor, lateral incisor and canine area was positively correlated with BMI(correlation coefficient: 0.222,0.270,0.319).Conclusion(1)The thickness of gingival margin and the alveolar mucosa decreased in the labial area of the maxillary anterior dental lab increased progressively in the coronal root;(2)The thickness of the gingival area and alveolar mucosa in the middle incisor of the male is greater than that of the female;(3)The thickness of the hard and soft tissue at the labial side of the maxillary canine area is positively correlated;(4)The soft tissue of the labial part of the maxillary central incisor is positively correlated with the BMI;(5)Hard tissue and BMI values were positively correlated.
