| Objective To investigate the status of fear of childbirth in primiparas,and analyze the influencing factors of primipara’s fear of childbirth from the aspects of social demographic characteristics,childbirth self-efficacy and social support.At the same time,we explored the way of labor self-efficacy and social support on the fear of childbirth,and carried out the verification and analysis of the structural equation model.Through the analysis and discussion of the model,it provides the reference basis for the obstetrical staff to make individual intervention measures.Methods A cross-sectional survey was conducted to investigate 271 cases of primipara in the first grade of pregnancy in a three grade a hospital by using the self-efficacy scale for childbirth,social support rating scale and childbirth attitude questionnaire.SPSS24.0software was used to analyze the data.The scores of birth fear for primipar with different demographic characteristics were compared by independent sample t test and single factor analysis of variance,and the factors of influencing factors were analyzed by multiple linear regression analysis.AMOS23.0 was used to construct structural equation modeling,Maximum Likelihood(ML)was used to estimate the parameters,and the model of influencing factors of labor fear was constructed,so as to analyze the path of influencing factors on labor fear.Results The score of fear of birth in primipara was 33.28±9.22,and the rate of fear of childbirth was 73.1%.There was significant difference in the fear score of childbirth(P < 0.05)at different cultural levels and in the early pregnancy.The self-efficacy of childbirth,the degree of culture and the absence of medication in the early pregnancy are the factors affecting the fear of childbirth in the primipara.The fear of delivery wasnegatively correlated with delivery self-efficacy and social support(r=-0.22,r=-0.13,P < 0.05).There was a positive correlation between the delivery self-efficacy and social support(r=0.14,P < 0.05).Delivery self-efficacy plays a full mediating role between fear of childbirth and social support.Conclusions The incidence of fear of childbirth in primipara is high,and it is influenced by different factors.It provides social support to improve childbirth fear by improving the self-efficacy of pregnant women.It is necessary to provide comprehensive and personalized interventions for different reasons to effectively reduce the incidence of fear of childbirth. |
