Objective:This essay is to know the information about demographic characteristics and hypertension on sufferers. Some reference is provided for hospitals to carry out health administration work by analyzing the effect of health education on medication compliance, self efficacy and quality of life for elderly hypertensive patients.Method:This research used random sampling, choosing 132 elderly hypertensive patients who visited upper first-class hospitals from July 2017 to January 2018 and met the inclusion criteria. The baseline information was collected by face-to-face inquiries. The patients were investigated by some questionnaires on general information, medication compliance,self-efficacy scale and quality of life.Meanwhile.Their physical examination and the biochemical indexes of the blood specimens were collected. After having signed the informed consent, the subjects received intervention from the researchers from upper first-class hospital and the teams of the community service center, acquiring 6-month health education on hypertension by WeChat platform, the health lecture, the telephone follow-up and other forms. Many statistical methods were carried out:1.SPSS 17.0 to analyze the general demographic characteristics of the subjects;2.repeatd measurements of variance to study the intervention effects of self efficacy, medication compliance and quality of life;3.rank-sum test to analyze the intervention effects of biochemical indexes of the subjects.Results:1.Comparison of self efficacy of hypertension:the results were(24.50±6.81)and(33±5.47)and(35.93±5.27)respectively before the intervention of Health education in health management model, intervention for 3 months and for 6 months, respectively, indicating that after intervention, the self-efficacy score was better than before intervention, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.Comparison of the compliance of hypertension medication:compared that of the intervention for 3 months and for 6 months and before intervention, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Comparison of the quality of life of hypertension:the results of Health education in health management model before health education, intervention for 3 months, and intervention for 6 months were(56.45±16.96)and(62.31±13.94)and(77.52±10.44)respectively,suggesting that the quality of life scores after intervention was better than before intervention, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.Comparison of physiological and biochemical indexes related to disease:This study compared the systolic pressure, diastolic pressure,BMI,waist circumference, total cholesterol,triglyceride,high-density lipoprotein, low density lipoprotein and blood sugar before intervention with that after 6 months intervention. The results showed that the average value of systolic pressure of the subjects before intervention was(147.77±13.42)mmHg,that of after 6 months intervention was(141.43±17.13)mmHg,the difference was statistically significant(t=4.361,P<0.01);the average diastolic pressure before intervention was(86.81±9.94)mmHg,and that was(82.81±8.11)mmHg after 6 month intervention, the difference was statistically significant(t=4.596,P<0.01).In addition, the BMI decreased significantly,it changed from(25.38±3.31)Kg/m2 before intervention to(24.93±3.05)Kg/m2 after 6 month intervention, the difference was statistically significant(t=3.771,P<0.01).And the waistline decreased from(87.83±8.48)cmbefore intervention to(86.36±8.03)cm,and the difference was statistically significant(t=3.286,P<0.05).After intervention, total cholesterol,triglyceride,high-density lipoprotein(LDL)and low density lipoprotein(LDL)decreased, but the difference was not significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:Based on the Health education in health management model,a healthy lifestyle should be set up for the elderly hypertension patients to enhance their self-efficacy,to establish the belief in controlling the disease,to improve the physiological and biochemical indexes related to the disease,to improve the drug compliance and finally to improve their quality of life.It is worth further promotion.
