The Effect Of Xiaozheng Decoction In Treating Uterine Leiomyoma And Its Effect On Serum IGF-1

Objective:Observing the clinical symptoms improvement of patients of uterine leiomyoma and the changes of the volume of uterine fibroids,the clinical efficacy of Xiaozheng Decoction in the treatment of uterine fibroids was discussed;and the changes of serum IGF-1,E2,and P after treatment were observed to explore the therapeutic mechanism of Xiaozheng Decoction.Methods:60 samples of uterine fibrosis patients caused by deficiency of vital energy and blood stasis were collected in March 2017 to March 2018 and randomly divided into 2 groups.For treatment group and matched group.The treatment group patients were given Xiaozheng Decoction every morning and night per os.For matched group,patients were given three Gongliuqin capsules every time,and three times a day per os.Two of the therapy was temporary paused during menstruation period.Each menstrual cycle is a course of treatment and the patients were observed for 3 courses totally.The collected data were processed and analyzed by SPSS22.0 statistical software to observe the improvement of clinical symptoms,changes in uterine fibroid volume,changes in serum IGF-1,levels of sex hormones E2,P,and comprehensive clinical efficacy before and after treatment in both groups.Results:1.Changes in the scores of TCM syndromes and the efficacy of TCM syndromes:The total scores of the two groups post-treatment were significantly lower than pre-treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.01).The effective rate of TCM syndromes in the two groups was 93.33%and 73.33%respectively.The efficiency of the two groups of TCM syndromes was significantly higher in the treatment group than in the control group(p<0.05).2.Changes in the volume of uterine fibroids and the efficacy of uterine fibroids:Before and after treatment,the volume of uterine fibroids after treatment in both groups was significantly reduced compared with that before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.01).The effective rates of uterine fibroids in the two groups were 86.67%and 73.33%respectively.The treatment group was significantly higher than the control group(p<0.05).3.Comprehensive clinical curative effect:The total effective rate of the treatment group was 93.70%,and that of the control group was 70.00%.The treatment group was higher than the control group(p<0.05).4.Changes of serum IGF-1 levels:Serum IGF-1 levels decreased after treatment in both groups,and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.01).Serum IGF-1 levels in patients with uterine fibroids were different between the two groups after treatment,and the difference was statistical significant(p<0.05).5.Changes in sex hormones E2,P:after treatment,sex hormones E2,P were lower than before treatment,the difference within the group was statistically significant(p<0.01).The decrease in E2 and P in the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group(p<0.05).Conclusion:The clinical curative effect of Xiaozheng Decoction in the treatment of uterine leiomyoma is significant,not only can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients,but also can reduce the volume of uterine fibroids,thereby delaying the disease process,and the treatment cost is low without toxic side effects.The therapeutic mechanism may be related to the decrease of serum IGF-1,the reduction of the levels of sex hormones E2 and P,and improves the endocrine environment of the body and uterus.
