| Objective:We analysis the neuropsychological test scores and the level of event related potential(CNV,N2)of normal control group,MCI and AD group, then analysis the correlation between them,To explore whether event-related potential can be used as an objective tool for cognitive impairment. Methods:We Collected the 23 mild cognitive dysfunction and 21 patients with Alzheimer’s disease, who visiting to the cognitive and memory department of the first hospital of Jilin University during the February2017 to February 2018,then we choose 22 healthy elderly whose age, education level, genderwere similar to control group. All of them are used to writing with their right hand. After we inquiried their general clinical information,We tested neuropsychological scale for them,in which including Mini-Mental State Examination,Montreal Cognitive Assessment,Clinical Dementia Rating Scale, and then we collected the Event-Related Potential of CNV and N2.the severity of dementia was classified by the Clinical Dementia Rating Scale Sum of Boxes(CDR-SB).Using SPSS18.0 statistical software to analysis the date。Results:1.In the CNV task, there was a statistical difference among NC,MCI and AD gruop(P <0.001).2.In CNV task significantly difference in the Expectancy Wave amplitude and area at Cz site was observed among the three groups(P <0.001).The difference of EW amplitudebetween any two groups was statistically significant(P < 0.05).The difference of EW areabetween any two groups was statistically significant(P < 0.05).3.The correlation analysis of the latency, amplitude, area of Expectancy Wave and MMSE showed that the Expectancy Wave amplitude was significantly correlated with MMSE total score, time and place orientation, memory and recall ability; The Expectancy Wave area is significantly related to MMSE total score, time and place orientation, memory and recall ability. The correlation analysis of the latency, amplitude, area of Expectancy Wave and Mo CA showed that the Expectancy Wave amplitude was significantly correlated with Mo CA scores, visual space and execution ability, language skills, language fluency(animal number/minute),delayed recall, directional forces, naming ability; The Expectancy Wave area is significantly related to Mo CA total score, visual space and execution ability, naming ability, language ability, language fluency(animal number /minute),delay recall force, orientation force.4.Compared the relationship with each other among the threegroups, the differences in the reaction time and correct rate of N2 were significant(P<0.05).Compared MCI group with NC group,AD group with NC group, the difference in the N2 reaction time was significant, there was no statistical difference between MCI group and AD group, but the average reaction time of the AD group was longer than that of the MCI group.Compared MCI group with NC group, there was no significant difference in the accuracy of N2,butthe difference in the accuracy of N2 between AD group and MCI group,AD group and NC group was statistically significant.5.There was no statistically significant difference between the latency and the amplitude of the N2 component were observed among the groups(P>0.05),regardless of the conflict and matching state.Conclusion:1.In the CNV task, the more severe the cognitive impairment, the longer the response time.2.As cognitive dysfunction increases, the CNV amplitude and the area of under the curve reduced, which means the excitability and attention degree is affected in patients with cognitive dysfunction, they have poor ability to maintain the attention.3.The correlation between the CNV amplitude, area and the scores of neural psychology test was Significant correlation. Therefore,CNV can reflect the impairment of cognitive function of MCI and AD patients, which can be used as a good electrophysiological index to detectcognitive dysfunction in patients.4.The N2 latency and amplitudes was not statistically significant among the three groups in the Flanker interference stimulus, but as the cognitive function decline, the differences in the reaction time and correct rate of N2 were significant(P<0.05).The results show that MCI and AD groups have decreased ability to handle conflict and interference. |
