| Objective: To retrospectively analyze the clinicopathological features and factors that influence the prognosis of PTL patients.The expression of PIM1 and SOCS1 in PTL tissues was detected,and the relationship between the expression of PIM1 and SOCS1 and the clinicopathological features and prognosis of PTL was analyzed.Methods: Collection of Hunan Cancer Hospital from January 2003 to June 2016,Xiangya Hospital Of Central South University from June 2010 to December 2016,and Second Xiangya Hospital Of Central South University from June 2011 to March 2016 with complete clinical data.A total of 43 cases of testicular pathology are collected.All patients have complete clinical data and pathological data.The clinical characteristics of 60 patients with PTL are retrospectively analyzed by single and multiple factor analysis.The expression of PIM1 and SOCS1 in 43 PTL patients with pathological specimens is detected by immunohistochemistry.And analyze the correlation between PIM1 and SOCS1 protein and clinicopathological characteristics and prognosis ofdifferent patients.Results:(1)In 60 PTL cases,the single factor analysis shows: the B symptoms,elevated LDH levels,IPI score 2-5 points,bilateral testicular invasion,pathological type of T cell lymphoma,hypoproteinemia,stage III-IV stage,only surgical treatment mode,the non-chemotherapy treatment is a poor prognostic factor affecting OS(P<0.05).Multivariate analysis shows that the treatment mode of surgery alone is an independent poor prognosis factor.(2)The positive rate of PIM1 in pathological tissues of PTL patients is 67.4%(29/43).There is no significant correlation between PIM1 expression and PTL various clinical pathological parameters(P>0.05).In clinical stage I-II,There is no significant difference in the PFS between the two groups(P=0.207).But there is a significant difference in OS between the two groups(P=0.048).In clinical stage III-IV,there is no significant difference about OS and PFS between the two groups(P=0.853,P=0.390).The statistical analysis of OS between the two groups showed significant difference(P=0.045)but there is no significant difference between the two groups of PFS.(P=0.070).(3)The positive expression rate of SOCS1 in pathological tissues of PTL patients is 41.9%(18/43).There is a correlation between the expression of SOCS1 and the tumor diameter of PTL patients(P=0.031),and other clinicopathological parameters have no significantcorrelation(P>0.05).In clinical stage I-II,there is no significant difference in the PFS between the two groups.(P=0.230).But there is a significant difference in OS between the two groups(P=0.048).In clinical stage III-IV,there is no significant difference about OS and PFS between the two groups(P=0.535,P=0.751).There is a significant difference between the two groups of OS statistical analysis(P=0.045),but it shows no significant difference about the PFS.(P=0.268).Conclusion:(1)PIM1 is expressed in most PTL tissues.PIM1 positive expression is a poor prognostic factor of PTL.PIM1 may be one of the reference indicators for predicting the prognosis of PTL patients.(2)SOCS1 is expressed in about half of PTL tissues.The negative expression of SOCS1 is associated with poor prognosis of PTL.SOCS1 may be one of the reference indexes for predicting the prognosis of PTL patients.(3)High LDH level,bilateral testicular invasion,stage III-IV,and simple surgical treatment are the poor prognostic factors affecting PTL.The simple surgical treatment mode is an independent prognostic factor. |
