Investigation Of Hand Health Status Of Medical Staff In China And The Cognitive Assessment Of Hygienic Requirements For Hand Antiseptic Agents

ObjectivesTo investigate the status of the hand hygiene and compliance of medical staff in hospitals nationwide in order to strengthen hand hygiene management;to understand the awareness rate and implementation of hygienic requirements for hand antiseptic agen,also as to provide recommendations for subsequent standard revisions.MethodsBy joint investigation,we select 69 hospitals including the national-level monitoring targets from 14 province and military academy of medical sciences and efforts,to monitor the hand hygiene among medical staff;A totle of 14manufacturing enterprises,42 disease control and prevention centers and supervision institutions,34 medical institutions,and 52 families and individuals were selected as survey subjects.Questionnire survey,scene survey,telephone survey and e-mail survey were used to understand the awareness rate,use feeling and suggestions to the criterion.Using EXCEL for data sorting and SPSS 19.0 for statistical analysis of the data.Results1 surgical hand hygieneA total of 56 hospitals and 1366 surgical staff was surveyedduring 2015-2016.The median total number of colonies was 0 CFu/cm2.The qualification rate of nurses 'surgical hand hygiene was 93.5%,and the qualification rate of doctors' surgical hand hygiene was 90.2%.In 2016,the number of surgical hand hygiene for healthcare workers(784)was higher than the number of Surgical hand hygiene for healthcare workers in 2015(582).The qualification rate of medical staff in 2016(90.6%)is lower than that of medical staff in 2015(94.2%).2 Hygiene handIn 2015-2016,a total of 69 hospitals and 3342 hand hygiene workers was surveyed,with a qualification rate of 76.1%and a median total number of colonies of 1.4 CFU/cm2.Other medical technicians have the highest qualification of hand hygiene and the qualification rate of health hand of nurses is higher than that of doctors.3 Hand hygienecomplianceAccording to the results of hand hygiene compliance of all indications,the total hand hygiene compliance of medical staff was 50%.According to the compliance observation of hand hygiene in different departments,the highest hand hygiene compliance(75.0%)of medical staff in burn ward,Medical staff in the treatment room had the lowest hand hygiene compliance(34.6%).Overall,hand hygiene compliance of tertiary hospitals was significantly better than that of secondary and tertiary hospitals,with the highest rate of hand hygiene compliance(53.0%)among nurses and the lowest rate of hand hygiene compliance(44.9%)among doctors.4 The cognitive assessment of Hygienic requirements for hand antiseptic agentsThe awareness rate for 14 manufacturing enterprises was 100%;the criterion was brought into the quality management system of all the enterprises.In the 42 supervision and inspection agencies,the awareness rates for 14 provincial agencies and 18 municipal agencies were 100%and 94.4%.In the 34 hospitals using hand antiseptic agents,the awareness rate was 100%.The awareness rate for 52 families and individuals was 0.Conclusion1.The passing rate of hand hygiene of medical personnel in domestic medical institutions has declined,and hand hygiene compliance is still low.To improve the pass rate of hand hygiene,we must first recognize the importance of hand hygiene.Second,we should further strengthen training to improve the implementation rate of medical staff health,appropriate intervention and regulatory measures.2.The degree of mastery of hand disinfectant using unit to the standard is not high,need to strengthen publicity and training.
