This thesis elaborated the studies on the chemical constiuents of two Illicium plants(Illicium majus,Illicium verm)and Artemisia carvifolia.Nighty-four compounds,including eight novel ones were isolated from above species.These compound hich covered sesquiterpenoids,lignans,diterpenoids.flavanones,triterpene as well.Chapter 1 Investigation on Chemical Constituents of Illicium majusChapter 1 which focused on the purification and elucidation of the chemical and biological components from the stem barks of Illicium majus,Their structures were identified by applying modern Instrument analysis methods,45 compounds,including 5 new ones were isolated from the stem barks and fruits of majus,which covered s sesquiterpenoids,lignans,diterpenoids.flavanones as well.Illicium majus Hook et pro-drug of Oseltamivir.Oseltamivir is the first-line the viral neuraminidase inhibitors.We use HSCCC(High-speed Countercurrent Chromatography)to optimizing the separation and purificationmethods.1
