Objective:To comparethe bone metabolism and biochemical indexes between PMOP patients with brittle fracture of lumbar spine and PMOP without brittle fracture of lumbar spine, the correlation of between bone metabolism index and lumbar spine fragile fracture in PMOP patients was studied,to evaluate the risk of lumbar spine brittle fracture in clinical PMOP patients. Methods:Collected 112 patients with lumbar vertebrae fracture in patients with PMOP in affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University from January 2016 to August 2017 as the observation group, and 121 cases of severe PMOP in physical examination center were randomly selected as control group.Comparison and analysis of biochemical indexes of bone metabolism in two groups.T test was used for comparison between groups. The correlation of bone metabolism and bone mineral density(BMD)was studied by person correlation method and corresponding scatter plot.the related factors of lumbar spine fragile fracture was analyzed by Logistic non-conditional regression analysis. There was statistically significant difference(α=0.05,P<0.05).Results:Comparison with the control group,Ca,VD,P and Mg levels in bone metabolism biochemical indexes decreased in PMOP patients with brittle fracture.the levels of PTH and BALP elevated. The decrease of Ca and VD level and the increase of BALP level are correlated with the risk of lumbar spine brittle fracture in PMOP patients. The lower the value of Ca,VD and bone mineral density, the greater the risk of brittle fracture of the lumbar spine,The higher the BALP,the greater the risk of brittle fracture of the lumbar spine. Conclusion:There are some limitations in predicting fracture risk of PMOP based solely on bone mineral density(BMD).In order to improve the accuracy and sensitivity of diagnosis,it is necessary to analyze the changes of relevant bone metabolism indexes, especially Ca,VD,BALP and Mg as the auxiliary diagnostic basis,in order to achieve early intervention and reduce the risk of fracture.
