| Objective:This work was to study the status of acute stress reaction, social support, anxiety and depression in patients with sudden deafness, and to explore the influencing factors of acute stress response in sudden deafness patients, and to analyze the relationship of acute stress response, social support, anxiety and depression. Methods:From January 2017 to December, all the sudden deafness patients in the First Affiliated Hospital of Shihezi University Medical College and the Shihezi people’s hospital were selected as the research subjects. The general condition questionnaire,Standford’s acute stress response questionnaire, social support rating scale, self rating Anxiety Scale and self rating Depression Scale were used to investigate the patients.Epi Data was used to build database, and SPSS17.0 software was used for statistical analysis.Statistical methods included descriptive statistics,t-test nonparametric test,Spearman correlation analysis and multiple linear stepwise regression analysis.Results:1.The average score of SASRQ was [39.00(21.75,60.00)];the average score of social support was(42.66 ± 6.81);anxiety rough score was(42.81 ± 9.80),the standard score was(53.16 ± 12.25);depression rough score was(45.58±8.15),the standard score was(56.64±10.19).2.There was no statistically significant difference in SASQR scores among different genders, nationalities, marital status, occupation, educational level, family location, family income, deaf area and duration of disease(P>0.05).The difference of age, character, the degree of hearing loss, and tinnitus or not and vertigo or not were statistically significant in SASQR scores(P<0.05).3.Multiple linear stepwise regression analysis showed that the degree of hearing loss, character, tinnitus or not and vertigo or not entered the regression equation of SASRQ total score, which could explain 47.6% of the total variation.4.All dimensions of acute stress reaction were negatively correlated with utilization of support(P<0.01),There was negative correlation in all dimensions of SASQR and the total social support score except dimension of irritability(P<0.05);The dimension of separation, the dimension of damage, the total score of SASQR and the subjective support were negatively correlated(P<0.05),All dimensions of acute stress reaction were positive correlated with total score of anxiety(P<0.01);All dimensions of acute stress reaction were positive correlated with total score of depression(P<0.01)).Concludes:1.The acute stress response of the patients with sudden deafness was not high, the social support was in moderate to the upper level, and the anxiety and depression were mild.2.The factors affecting the acute stress response of the patients with sudden deafness include the degree of hearing loss, character, tinnitus or not,and vertigo or not.3.The acute stress response in patients with sudden deafness was negatively correlated with social support, and was positively correlated to anxiety and depression. |
