Objective: To explore the diagnosis and treatment of localized retroperitoneal Castleman’s disease.Methods: Clinical data of 11 cases with localized retroperitoneal Castleman’s disease in the First Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University from January 2010 to January2018 were retrospectively analyzed.Results: The group of 11 patients found by physical examination in 9 cases,abdominal pain examination found 2 cases.Ultrasound examination revealed a clear outline of the tumor,hypoechoic.CT scan showed CT value of 26-46 HU,the average CT value of 36 HU,CT enhanced significantly enhanced.All the 11 patients were not diagnosed preoperatively.All the patients underwent surgery,10 underwent open retroperitoneal resection and 1 underwent retroperitoneal laparoscopic resection of the retroperitoneum in the adrenal area.6 cases were located in the right retroperitoneal,5 cases were located in the left retroperitoneal,were single solid tumors.Pathological diagnosis was Castleman’s disease,9 cases of hyaline vascular,2 cases of plasma cell type.Ten patients were followed up,one was lost to follow-up,and the follow-up time ranged from 3month to 8 years.No recurrence occurred.Conclusion: Retroperitoneal localized Castleman’s disease is rare,preoperative diagnosis is more difficult,easy misdiagnosis,imaging showed single solid tumors,CT enhanced significantly enhanced,the prognosis of patients with good surgical removal of the tumor.
