| Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Qi Gui Yi Bai Fang in the prevention and treatment of leukopenia after chemotherapy in Non Hodgkin’s lymphoma,then to provide more scientific and sufficient clinical evidence for the drug widely used.Methods:In this study,64 cases with Non Hodgkin’s lymphoma were selected from inpatient cases of Gansu Provincial Cancer Hospital.All patients signed informed consent and accord with Non Hodgkin’s lymphoma TCM Syndrome Differentiation Standard and Western medicine diagnostic standard.We used a randomized controlled study and randomly divided the 64 cases into control group(n=32)and treatment group(n=32).Control group was treated with standard CHOP chemotherapy,and the treatment group was treated with Qi Gui Yi Bai Fang(One dose a day,decoct the water to 400 ml,take 200 ml in the morning and evening)on the basis of the control group.The curative effect was evaluated after 1course of treatment(21 days for a course of treatment).To evaluate the clinical efficacy of Qi Gui Yi Bai Fang by observing the TCM clinical symptoms,physical condition,the use of colony-stimulating factor and the changes of leukocytes and neutrophils in the two groups during the course of treatment.And to evaluate the safety of Qi Gui Yi Bai Fang by observing the possible adverse reactions during the course of treatment.SPSS20.0 software was used for statistical analysis and the statistical results were statistically significant when P<0.05.Results:Of the 64 patients with Non Hodgkin’s lymphoma,3 patients withdrew early due to the intolerance of chemotherapy and were treated according to the cases of abscission.Therefore,the actual 61 patients included in the study for statistical analysis(control group of 30 patients;treatment group of 31 patients),the specific results are as follows:(1)The change of leukocytes and neutrophils:(1)The mean values of leukocytes and neutrophils in both groups decreased gradually on the 4th,7th and 10 th day after chemotherapy,and the decrease in the control group was significantly higher thanthat in the treatment group(P< 0.05).(2)The incidence of leukocyte and neutrophil reduction in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P < 0.05).(3)The mean value of leukocytes and neutrophils in both groups increased gradually on the 13 th,15th,18 th and 21 st day after chemotherapy,and the increase in the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).(2)The change of TCM Clinical syndromes:the general effective rate in the control group was 43.33%,and the general effective rate in the treatment group was80.65%.In the TCM Clinical syndromes improvement,the treatment group was significantly better than the control group(P<0.05).(3)The change of physical condition:the changes of KPS score in the two groups were as follows:there was no significant difference in KPS score between the 21 st day after chemotherapy in the control group and before chemotherapy(P > 0.05),and the KPS score on the 21 st day after chemotherapy in the treatment group was significantly different from that before chemotherapy(P < 0.05).In physical condition improvement,the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05).(4)The use of colony stimulating factor:compared with the control group,the treatment group could significantly reduce the frequency of colony stimulating factor after chemotherapy,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(5)Comparison of safety indicators:the treatment group of gastrointestinal adverse reactions,such as nausea and vomiting,was lower than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);There was no significant difference in the damage of liver function and renal function between the two groups(P >0.05).Conclusion:Qi Gui Yi Bai Fang has the effect of improving the TCM clinical symptoms,physical condition and reducing the use of colony stimulating factor in patients.It is effective in the prevention and treatment of leukopenia after chemotherapy for Non Hodgkin’s lymphoma.It not only improves the quality of life of the patients,but also has no obvious side effects. |
