| Objective: To investigate the infection of the human bocavirus(HBoV)in the children diagnosed with brochiolitis,in contrast with the clinical characteristics of brochiolitis of HBoV/RSV single-infection.Methods: A total of 396 throat swabs were obtained from children diagnosed with brochiolitis from January 2015 to December 2016 in Pediatric asthma center of Gansu maternal and child health care hospital,Lanzhou.A total of 2 specimens were collected.1 specimens were detected the nucleotide of HBoV,RSV and other 6common respiratory viruses by nested PCR(nested-polymerase chain reaction)and RT-PCR(reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction,RT-PCR),Culture of bacteria and fungi in the other specimens, the blood samples of the corresponding children were collected for detection of antibodies against Mycoplasma pneumoniae and Chlamydia pneumoniae. And the epidemic status, clinical characteristics, dominant subtype of HBoV and RSV were analyzed and compared with each other. Results: The positive rate of virus infection was 53.54%,and HBoV and RSV infections were 9.85% and 24.49% in 396 cases. The cases of HBoV single infection,RSV single infection,HBoV and RSV mixed infection were 39,86 and 5.The number of boy babies infected with HBoV is 27,There is statistical significance on the difference of the gender infection(P<0.05).The statistical significance also exists for age.The babies ranging from 6 to 12 months have the max positive rate. The infection of HBoV mainly occurred in November,2015 and during September to October,2016.The first incidence peak was in October 2015.The children with HBoV infection, compared with RSV patients, present more often with vomiting,diarrhea(P<0.05),while symptoms such as the occurrence of anhelation, dyspnea, hyoxemia and the hospitalization time are all lower(P<0.05).HBoV is more common than RSV infected chest radiographs in emphysema(P<0.05),less parenchyma lesions(P<0.05).In Lanzhou, children with bronchiolitis are mainly HBoV-1 infection, secondly HBoV-2,HBoV-3 and HBoV-4 types were not detected. Conclusion: HBoV is one of the causes of brochiolitis for infant was distributed in the whole year. The majority of infants is in the 6-12 month age group. The incidence of boys is higher than that of girls. The clinical symptoms, laboratory and radio-graphic changes are similar between the HBoV and RSV simple infectors only the HBoV infection is comparatively mild.Lanzhou, children with bronchiolitis aremainly HBoV-1 infection, secondly HBoV-2,HBoV-3 and HBoV-4 types were not detected. |
