Objective: Metabolic acidosis(MA)is a common complication of Chronic kidney disease(CKD).Metabolic acidosis can also cause further aggravation of chronic kidney disease,and is an important risk factor for poor prognosis and death in patients with chronic kidney disease.The aim of this paper is to systematically evaluate the efficacy and safety of the alkali therapy of chronic kidney disease by Meta analysis.Methods: The Cochrane Center Register of Controlled Trials(CENTRAL),PubMed,EMBASE,database CNKI,Wanfang Data knowledge platform were searched to identify randomized controlled trials(RCT)investigating the effect of base on adults with chronic kidney disease and through the method of manual screening screening for references in the literature included.The retrieval time is from the self built library to September 2017.Meta analysis is provided by Revman 5.3 provided by Cochrane collaboration network.Results: A total of 10 randomised control trials(604 patients)were included.According to the results of meta analysis: Compared with the control group: Alkali therapy can increase the plasma concentration of sodium bicarbonate;decrease the level of serum phosphorus,parathyroid hormone and alkaline phosphatase,slow progression of CKD,elevate diastolic pressure.The differences of serum calcium,serum albumin,systolic blood pressure(P﹥0.05)are not significant in statistics.Conclusion: Alkali therapy can improve the concentration of bicarbonate in serum of patients with chronic kidney disease,benefit the improvement of bone metabolism disorder,protect the renal function,and have no side effect of high blood pressure.
