ObjectiveAt present, there is a basic consensus at home and abroad, benign childhood epilepsy with centotemporal spike can affect children’s specific cognitive function. However, there are few reports about the effects of benign childhood epilepsy with centrotemporal spike on children’s emotional behavior. Therefore,we studied the effects of benign childhood epilepsy with central temporal spikes on children’s emotion and behavior and deepen the understanding of the disease;from the perspective of neuropsychology, children with benign epilepsy with central temporal spikes were intervened to improve and improve the quality of life of these children.MethodsCollecting the children with benign childhood epilepsy with centrotemporal spike of Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao Universityand Qingdao women’s and children’s Hospital from October 2015 to December 2017,as BECTS group(untreated with antiepileptic drugs); At the same time, collecting the children in the outpatient health examination in our hospital as the control group, and the study and analysis of emotion and behavior of all children were carried out through the Achenbach children’s behavior scale(CBCL,parents).Through independent sample t-test to CBCL scores of two groups of children, the comprehensive factor score comparative analysis, through the Pearson correlation analysis the influence factors of affecting the BECTS children’s emotional behavior analysis.Results(1)The children of the BECTS group and the control group were matched with the social population factors such as sex, age, education level and the education level of the fill. The difference was not statistically significant(P > 0.05),and it was comparable;(2)The total score of CBCL scale of children in BECTS group was significantly higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);(3)In the three syndromes of attack behavior, attention deficit and anxiety depression, the score of children in BECTS group was significantly higher than that in the control group, with statistically significant difference(P < 0.05);(4)In the shrinking, body complained of problems, social problems, thinking and indiscipline by five syndrome,BECTS group of children children score higher than the control group, there was no statistically significant difference(P > 0.05);(5)In thesocial problems,BECTS group of children children score lower than the control group, there was no statistically significant difference(P > 0.05);(6)Pearson correlation analysis results show that the BECTS children in CBCL scale, withdrawal, body complained of problems, social problems, thinking, indiscipline, aggression, anxiety, depression and attention deficit in the eight syndrome score and age,age of onset, duration, attack frequency and duration of attack had no significant correlation(r = 0.139 ~ 0.219,P > 0.05).Conclusion(1)BECTS children who did not take antiepileptic drugs have no diagnostic criteria for mood disorders and abnormal behavior, but BECTS has some adverse effects on children’s emotional problems and behavioral problems.(2)The effects of BECTS on children are characterized by aggressive behavior, attention disorder, learning difficulties, restlessness, restlessness, and sleep disorders.
