Objective:To study the effect of stent on vascular endothelium and valuate the assessment of vascular damage. Methods: The thrombosis process was performed on the side of the common carotid arteries in rabbits with the commonly used Solitair AB stent and Trevo stent. The changes of NO,vWF,and ET-1 in blood of rabbits were monitored before and after surgery for statistical analysis.Postoperative blood vessels were taken to make pathological sections. Results: Preoperative vWF and ET-1 levels were lower than those after surgery.Preoperative NO levels were higher than those after surgery.Histopathology showed a small amount of damage to the vascular endothelium. Conclusion: The thrombectomy stent will cause certain damage to the blood vessel intima during operation, and the operation is gentle and accurate when the operation is performed,so as to avoid repeated traction and care needs to be taken to protect the blood vessel.
