Objective:To compare the efficiency of neoadjuvant chemotherapy SOX program and FOLFOX6 program in surgical patients with gastric cancer.Methods:66 patients with advanced gastric cancer admitted into our hospital were divided into the SOX program N(30)and FOLFOX6 N(36)by analyzed retrospectively.Chemotherapy needed to 3 cycles to compare the efficacy, toxicity, colligation condition during operation, postoperative complications, drop period efficient. Results:The effective rates of chemotherapy for the treatment of advanced gastric cancer were respectively 56.7% and 50%,and the difference had no statistically significant(P > 0.05).The main adverse reaction and the serious adverse reaction(Ⅲ~ Ⅳdegree)of the patients in two groups were both gastrointestinal reaction and toxicity of hematology, and the incidence of the SOX group was lower than the FOLFOX6 group only in the gastrointestinal reaction, and the difference had statistically significant(P < 0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the rest adverse reactions of the two groups(P> 0.05).Compare the total down-staging effective rates of the two groups and there was no statistically significant difference between them(P > 0.05).In the limited sample size, the differences of the R0 resection rate and the incidence of postoperative complications between the SOX group and the FOLFOX6 group both had no obvious statistical significance. Conclusion:When the neoadjuvant chemotherapy carried out to the surgical patients with gastric cancer in the SOX group and the FOLFOX6 group, the recent efficacy of the two groups is the same. The incidence of the gastrointestinal reaction in the SOX group is obviously lower in the comparison of the adverse reactions after chemotherapy between the two groups. It inspires us that while we are considering the clinical effect of chemotherapy programs,we should also take the patients’ tolerance into consideration.
