Research On Intervention Effect Of Goodman Exercise For Subjects With Different Lumbar Curvatures

Purpose: After 6 weeks’ Goodman exercise,in order to explore the same exercise intervention effect on different subjects and the functional mechanism of exercise therapies.Research method: The research takes ordinary college students of the subject major in Beijing Sport University as experimental subjects,all which have no low back pain symptoms within six months.The sagittal plane X-ray photography is done for subjects,the lumbar curvature is measured by the Seze measure method,and 18 subjects are selected as experimental intervention subjects.Next,the experimental subjects can be divided into lumbar vertebra curvature decrease group of 6 people,lumbar vertebra curvature normal group of 6 people,and lumbar vertebra curvature increase group of 6 people,which are conducted the Goodman exercise intervention experiment for 6 weeks.Before and after the experiment,we respectively carry on the sagittal plane lumbar curvature test,multifidus muscle physical condition test,trunk muscle endurance test,Y-balance test and multifidus surface electromyography test.Data analysis of the test results with SPSS.Results:(1)After training,the multifidus muscle stiffness and the frequency of decrease group increase in the resting state(P<0.05),the multifidus muscle attenuation ratio of increase group increases(P<0.05)and higher than decrease group and normal group(P<0.05);(2)before training,the side chain muscle endurance of decrease group is lower than that of normal group(P<0.05),after training there are no difference;the trunk flexor muscle endurance of decrease group is lower than that of normal group(P<0.05),Goodman exercise don’t have significant effect on the trunk flexor muscle endurance;after training,the trunk extensor muscle endurance of 3 groups increases(P <0.01);(3)in the Posteromedial direction test of Y-balance,except the right side lower limb of increase group,the scores of the others significantly increase after training(P <0.05);in the Posteromedial direction test,after training the scores of both lower limbs in decrease group and increase group significantly increase(P <0.05);(4)in the active straight arm uplift test,the left side multifidus muscle activation time is less than normal group and increase group(P<0.05);(5)after training,the lumbar lordosis index increases significantly(P<0.01).Research conclusions:(1)In this study,there are obvious differences in the different groups.(2)The groups who have abnormal curvature of the lumbar spine can’t pre muscle contraction in advance when there has suddenly external loading of the spine to maintaining the stability of the lumbar spine.(3)There is significant effect of Goodman exercise on the improvement of trunk extensor muscle test and Y-balance test scores.(4)Goodman exercise has a positive effect to improve the sub-health status on waist function,reduce the risk of damage.
