Objective: To evaluate the clinical value and curative effect of nano-hydroxyapatite /polyamide 66 two-stage adjustable anatomical spinal repair system in reconstruction of thoracolumbar single segment spinal tumor after resection.Methods: From September 2016 to September 2017,28 patients with spinal tumors in our department were randomly selected.All cases were diagnosed as thoracolumbar single segment tumor by imaging before operation and the whole body was in good condition.The estimated survival time was more than 6 months.According to the principle of randomized grouping and combined with the wishes of patients and their relatives,spinal tumor resection was performed.Twelve patients were treated as experimental group and 16 patients as control group,and 12 patients were reconstructed with two-stage adjustable anatomical prosthesis and 16 patients with titanium mesh reconstruction.The visual analogue scores of pain intensity before and one month after operation were recorded and compared in each group.The time of prosthesis placement during operation and the rate of prosthesis subsidence at 3month and 6 months after operation.Results:All the patients completed the operation successfully and were followed up for a long time.The follow-up time ranged from 3 months to 15 months.The symptoms of the patients were improved.The VSA score and Frankel score and KPS score in the two groups were significantly different before and after operation.The symptoms and health status of the patients were significantly improved.The time of adjustable prosthesis placement in the experiment group was 16.33 ±2.348 minutes,which was significantly less than that in the titanium mesh control group(23.88 ±3.304).The difference between the two groups was statistically significant.The loss of vertebral body height in the experimental group was 0.400 ±0.2374 mm,which wassignificantly lower than that in the titanium mesh control group(1.912 ±1.0282).The difference between the two groups was statistically significant.The gap of the last follow-up was increased,and a case of internal fixation fracture caused by titanium mesh subsidence was observed in the control group for 6 months.Conclusion: Nano-hydroxyapatite / polyamide 66 two-stage adjustable anatomical spinal prosthesis is convenient to be implanted,reduces the operation time during operation and can effectively prevent complications such as failure of internal fixation due to the sinking of prosthesis.It has a good prospect of clinical application.
