| Objective:Observed the main influencing factors of the detection rate of colorectal polyps with the method of two times of colonoscopy, and found out a new method to improve the detection rate.Methods:800 patients from the Department of Gastroenterology of the People’s Hospital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region during the period from August 2016 to March 2017 were selected for painless colonoscopy and400 patients were randomly selected for secondary examination.Try to control the objective factors affecting the detection rate of colorectal polyps, recorded the number, size, location, shape and pathological types of polyps detected in the first time and the second time of colonoscopy.Logistic regression analysis was used to find out the independent factors of polyp missed diagnosis in colonoscopy. Results: A relatively high rate of missed diagnosis in multiple polyps, less than 5mm small polyps, ascending colon polyps, transverse colon polyps, sigmoid polyps, and flat polyps(All P<0.05),pathological types had not correlation with missed rate(P > 0.05).The number, size, location and shape of polyps were independent factors(all P<0.05).The missed polyps were found in the second observation. Conclusion:The number, size, location and shape of colorectal polyps are all important factors influencing the detection rate.In colonoscopy,a new technique using secondary colonoscopy observations may increase the detection rate of polyps. |
