Clinical Study On Tcm Constitution Of Ischemic Stroke Patients In Shijiazhuang Area

Taking the TCM constitution as the breakthrough point,this study based on ischemic stroke risk factors related to theory study,investigated the TCM physique types of ischemic stroke patients in Shijiazhuang area,and analyzed the correlation between different physique types and risk factors.Furthermore,the susceptibility differences of ischemic stroke patients with different physique types were clarified,so more targeted prevention and intervention by means of traditional Chinese medicine can be carried out in the process of the disease.A prevention system based on screening and prevention can be established,which can give full play to the unique advantages of traditional Chinese medicine,adjust physical bias,and reduce the incidence of disease,disability rate and mortality.Research methods: In this study,we conducted a clinical survey through questionnaires,and 217 questionnaires were collected according to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria.On patients with ischemic stroke in shijiazhuang area of physical types distribution characteristics,based on patients with feedback information through the statistical analysis software of gender,age,smoking,drinking,hypertension,diabetes,hyperlipidemia,blood uric acid,homocysteine in patients with ischemic stroke and the influence factors,such as the correlation of TCM constitution.The logistic regression model was established for the three main types of constitution,and the correlation between these three constitutions and risk factors was analyzed.Results of the study:(1)The results showed that the frequency of TCM constitution types from high to low was: phlegm-wet 54 cases(27.3%),qi-deficiency of 36 cases(18.2%),blood-stasis 33 patients(16.7%),Yin-deficiency 18 cases(9.1%),Yang-deficiency 16 cases(8.1%),hot-humid 14 cases(7.1%),qi-depression 12 cases(6.1%),gentle-nature cases 12(6.1%),special-constitution 3 cases(1.5%).The three most frequent types of constitution are: phlegm-wet,qi-deficiency and blood-stasis.(2)According to the general data,comparison of ischemic stroke in patients with different physical types in gender,age,smoking,drinking,hypertension,diabetes,hyperlipidemia,whether there is a statistically significant,the results statistically difference(P<0.05),indicating that different constitution types of ischemic stroke patients in gender,age,smoking,alcohol consumption,whether of hypertension,diabetes,hyperlipidemia has a certain difference.Compare different constitution types in the blood uric acid,homocysteine levels,the result is not statistically difference(P>0.05),showed that different constitution types of ischemic stroke patients’ blood uric acid,no obvious difference was found between homocysteine levels.The main three types of constitution: qi-deficienc blood-stasis and phlegm-wet multivariate Logistic regression model were established and the results showed that Age(OR=1.233 、 OR=1.191)may be an independent risk factor in qi-deficiency.That is,the older patients were mainly due to qi-deficiency.Hypertension(OR=5.032,OR=4.458),hyperlipidemia(OR=4.458)is positively correlated with phlegm-wet,and the hypertension and hyperlipidemia patients were mainly the phlegm-wet.The conclusions are as follows:(1)TCM constitution type frequency from high to low was: phlegm-wet,qi-deficiency,blood-stasis,Yin-deficiency,Yang-deficiency,hot-humid,qi-depression,gentle-nature,special-constitution.The three most frequent types of constitution are: phlegm-dampness,qi-deficiency and blood-stasis.(2)In the male patients with ischemic stroke,the body type of the phlegm and qi-deficiency is more common,and the types of moist-heat are mainly concentrated in male patients.In the female patients with ischemic stroke,there are many types of body types,such as blood-stasis,qi-deficiency and phlegm-wet,and the type of qi-depression is mainly concentrated in female patients.(3)Among the patients with ischemic stroke who smoked and drank alcohol,there was more phlegm-wet.Phlegm-wet,qi-deficiency and blood-stasis were common in ischemic stroke patients with hypertension.There were phlegm-wet,qi-deficiency and yin-deficiency in ischemic stroke patients with diabetes mellitus.In patients suffering from hyperlipidemia,ischemic stroke were more common in phlegm-wet.Older patients are more likely to be found in qi-deficiency.(4)Age could be a qi-deficiency of independent risk factor for ischemic stroke patients,hypertension,hyperlipidemia and phlegmy-wet mass were positively correlated: the older patients were mainly qi-deficiency,the patients with hypertension and hyperlipidemia were phlegm-wet.This study clarified the relationship between different types of TCM constitution and the incidence of ischemic stroke,and provided the theoretical basis for using traditional Chinese medicine to reduce related risk factors and to effectively prevent and treat ischemic stroke in the clinical.
