Sun Hongxin Chief Physician’s Experience Applying Pinellia To Treat Malignant Tumour

Objective The purpose of this article is to summarize the ancient and modern literature of Pinellia systematically and the progress in the treatment of cancer,and to summarize and discuss the academic thoughts and clinical experience of tutor Sun Hongxin chief physician in the treatment of malignant tumors.It provides certain ideas and references for clinical scholars and research of anti-tumor Chinese medicines.Methods:1.Through the study of historical literature,Pinellia’s herbal history,taste,origin,efficacy,indications,processing methods,compatibility,commonly used doses,toxicity,and drug use taboos are reviewed.2.Through the literature search of the CNKI database in the past 10 years,we summarized the research progress of Pinellia on anti-tumor,prevention and treatment of digestive tract reactions and analgesia.3.Through summarizing the treatise of Sun Hongxin’s chief physician and my experience from teacher,analyzed his academic ideas of using Pinellia to treat tumors.Through a retrospective study,I retrospectively analyzed prescriptions containing Pinellia that were issued at the outpatient clinic from August 2015 to December 2017.(1)Collect complete prescriptions and count the tumor types that Tutor used to treat with Pinellia.The proportion of Pinellia prescriptions in the treatment of malignant tumors was statistically analyzed,and the types of malignant tumors commonly used by tutor were analyzed;(2)The doses,methods of processing and syndrome types of malignant tumor treated with Pinellia ternata were further statistically analyzed.Based on the above results,summary analysis Sun Hongxin Chief Physician Clinical use of Pinellia treatment of cancer ideas,medication experience,and select typical cases for analysis.Results:1.Instructor Sun Hongxin,director of clinical cancer treatment,Pinellia most commonly used for lung cancer,esophageal cancer and liver cancer,followed bygastric cancer,cholangiocarcinoma,brain tumor,colon cancer,breast cancer.The main types of clinical syndromes are spleen deficiency and endogenetic phlegm,healthy qi deficiency and pathogenic qi gathering,stagnation of liver and spleen deficiency.The most commonly used processed products are QingBanxia,and JiangBanxia are often used in digestive system tumors.Lung cancer,breast cancer,and brain tumors are also many applications for ShengBanxia.2.In the treatment of lung cancer,Tutor Sun mainly focuses on the Chinese herbal medicine of taking away dampness and resolving phlegm,invigorating spleen and drying dampness,and dissipating nodule.He also uses the method of supplementing spleen and kidney and uses the Qing Banxia that is adept in resolving phlegm and dampness,paired use JiangBanxia.In the esophageal cancer focus on catharsising liver and invigorating spleen,claming the adverse rising qi and resolving phlegm,and more use of JiangBanxia in the Warming middle-Jiao,claming the adverse rising qi and resolving phlegm,or QingBanxia taking away dampness and resolving phlegm,the amount can be to 45 g,often compatible with JiXingzi,Bihu etc.Treatment of liver cancer,catharsising liver-qi,invigorating spleen and nourishing stomach are the main methods,compatible with the medicine of dissipated nodule or promoting blood circulation for removing blood stasis,often use QingBanxia or JiangBanxia.The method of pryetic tonification of spleen and kidneys in colon cancer is used to warm the cold phlegm.Selection of Qing Banxia or Jiang Banxia.Breast cancer in order to catharsising liver-qi and spleen-qi or resolving phlegm and dissipated nodule,can choose to use QingBanxia or ShengBanxia.Treatment of cholangiocarcinoma is mainly warming stomach and resolving dampness,dredging liver and gallbladder,and dissipated nodule,usually use QingBanxia and ShengBanxia.In the treatment of cerebroma,my teacher believes that tonifying kidney and filling essence,invigorating spleen and drying dampness,dispelling endogenous wind-evil and resolving dampness are important,often with large doses of Shengbanxia combination with Shengnanxing,often compatible with scorpio,centipede,etc.to dispelling endogenous wind-evil and resolving dampness.Gastric cancer put invigorating spleen and harmonizing stomach,resolving dampness and dissipated nodule as the main treatment,often use Jiangbanxia and Qingbanxia.Prevent and treat digestive tract reactions,my tutor mostly use Banxia Xiexin Tang,Xiao Banxia plus Fuling Tang or Xuanfu Daizhe Tang.Treatment of cancer pain,heavy dose of Shengbanxia have the best curative effect,Generally at least to 30 g,and often matching Shengnan xing,Baiqucai,Xuchangqing,centipede,Yanhusuo,Pianjianghuang,Zaojiaoci and so on.Conclusion:1.The academic thought of applying Pinellia ternate to treat malignant tumor by Chief physician Sun Hongxin is mainly based on the theory of phlegm;taking the spleen as the most important,and using the Qingbanxia more often.2.Tutor advocated that the treatment of malignant tumor should start from phlegm,according to different conditions,choose diluting phlegm,removing phlegm,warming phlegm,resolving phlegm,etc.in order to treat the root of the disease,Pinellia is the representative Chinese medicine for taking away dampness and resolving phlegm,warming cold phlegm,can be used for much treatment of tumors,the prevention and treatment of digestive tract reactions and the treatment of cancer pain,as long as the identification of pathogenesis,reasonable use,compatibility properly,can achieve better clinical results.
