Objective: To investigate and analyze the clinical diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic neuroendocrine carcinomas(PNECs).Methods: The clinical records of 12 patients with pancreatic neuroendocrine cancer who were admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University from July2011 to July 2017 were reviewed retrospectively.Results: 7 males and 5 females,aged 26-61 years,with a median age of 55.5 years,were diagnosed by biopsy.7 patients with surgical treatment,including 2 cases of pancreaticoduodenal resection,4 cases of pancreatic body and tail resection,and pancreatic tumor resection + hepatic metastases tumor resection in 1 case,and the other 5cases with liver biopsy and endoscopic ultrasonography examination after conservative treatment.Ten patients were followed up for 1-60 months,and the other two patients were loss to be followed up.Conclusion: Pancreatic neuroendocrine carcinomas are rare and difficult to be diagnosed preoperatively.Surgical treatment should be taken actively in suspected cases.If there is no surgical resection,biological treatment,chemotherapy and targeted therapy should be taken to prolong the survival time.
