| Objective: In order to study the lanthanum chloride can be used to add to the removable denture base to enhance the antibacterial properties of removable denture,reduced the probability of monilia stomatitis,this experiment with the method of in vitro experiment,the first detection of lanthanum chloride on denture stomatitis the main pathogenic bacteria,candida albicans antibacterial sex,after further testing doped lanthanum chloride underpinning antibacterial ability and added lanthanum chloride after the activity on the mechanical properties of the denture material,to lanthanum chloride resin base to provide theoretical basis for the feasibility.Methods: 1.Antibacterial experiment of lanthanum chloride: using liquid dilution method to detect the minimum inhibitory concentration and the lowest bactericidal concentration of lanthanum chloride in vitro on candida albicans.2.The antibacterial properties of doped lanthanum chloride soft experiment: film secret post method is used to detect adding different branches of lanthanum chloride in the quality of the antibacterial rate of candida albicans,and scanning electron microscope to observe the antibacterial underpinning of candida albicans bacteria on the surface of the membrane adhesion.(3)doped lanthanum chloride on the base of the influence of mechanical properties: by adding lanthanum chloride resin underpinning for elastic modulus test,bending strength,impact strength test,study adding lanthanum chloride on the base of mechanical properties.Results: The MIC of lanthanum chloride on candida albicans was 2.5mg/ml and MBC was 5.00 mg/ml.When added lanthanum chloride concentration less than 2.0%,the material of candida albicans rate lower than 90%,the concentration of 2.5% lanthanum chloride resin underpinning the antibacterial effect of candida was 99%,and the said when material concentration of 2.5%,has strong antibacterial action.Compared with the blank group without added lanthanum chloride,lanthanum chloride initially antibacterial underpinning of the three physical properties are increased along with the increase in added lanthanum chloride dosage,but when the amount of adding lanthanum chloride after reaching a certain value the data instead of reduced,therefore,adding lanthanum chloride in a smaller range,underpinning the mechanical properties of positive change will happen.Conclusions: This study recommend using lanthanum chloride as antibacterial agent added in the resin is to reduce the incidence of denture stomatitis,when the amount of adding lanthanum chloride from 2% to 3%(w/w %)range of antibacterial resin base of mechanical performance enhancements. |
