| Cell invasion is a key step of development and tumor metastasis.More than 90% of tumor patients died from tumor metastasis. So,it is particularly important to study the mechanism of tumor metastasis.Currently, the research on tumor metastasis is limited to in vitro experiment,so there are many defects.C.elegans’ anchor cell invades through the basement membrane during their development, and with various genetic methods and fluorescent protein in vivo imaging performed,it has become a good research model for the invasion of cells in vivo. This study is based on C.elegans anchor cell invasion model, exploring the mechanism of LIN-29 regulating anchor cell invasion through the basement membrane. The downstream genes which may be regulated by LIN-29 are screened and explored. The results show that the deletion of LIN-29 can lead to anchor cell invasion defect.Since LIN-29 is homologous with human and mammalian early growth response-1(EGR-1),the study of LIN-29 regulating anchor cell invasion can enhance the understanding of human cell invasion, and giving some clues to cell invasion in tumor metastasis. |
