Objective:The purpose of research is to study oclussion condition of TMD positive group and TMD negative group to conduct clinical study in malocclusion people from12 to 30 years old, namely occlusal features of static occlusion(including malocclusion type, anterior teeth overbite, anterior teeth overjet, posterior teeth crossbite, posterior cissors bite and oral parafunction)and dynamic occlusion(includingposterior cissors bite, tooth wear, occlusal interference). The study is to analyze the correlation between TMD and dental occlusion, and provide relevant evidence for the treatment and prevent of temporomandibular disorders. Methods:According to temporomandibular disorders diagnostic criteria(DC/TMD)record TMD symptoms,64 cases of TMD positive group and 36 cases of TMD negative group are included,TMD positive group as a reserch group,TMD negative group as a control group, record the patients’general condition, occlusal features of static occlusion and dynamic occlusion.Data results are entered into the computer, and SPSS20.0 software are used for analysis the study,?~2tests are used to determine the correlation between TMD and dynamic and static occlusal characteristics, then the binary Logistic regression analysis are performed for the factors which P value is lesser then 0.05.Results:1.Analysis results of TMD prevalence and static occlusionFrom the static characteristics of occlusion, the occurrence of TMD and Angel malocclusion type, anterior teeth overbite, anterior teeth overjet, posterior teeth crossbite, posterior cissors bite and oral parafunction(including bruximania and bruxism)are not relevant(P>0.05).2.Analysis results of TMD prevalence and dynamic occlusionFrom the dynamic characteristics of occlusion, tooth wear is significant relevant to TMD(P<0.05).The occlusal interference(including protrusive interference and laterotrusive interference)is significant relevant to TMD(P<0.05).The consistency of CR-CO(CR-CO distance which is less than 2mm regard as CR-CO consistency,CR-CO distance which is greater than 2mm regard as CR-CO inconsistency)is not correlated to TMD(P>0.05).Conclusion:1.From the static characteristics of occlusion,Angel malocclusion type, anterior teeth overbite, anterior teeth overjet, posterior teeth crossbite, posterior cissors bite and oral parafunction(including bruximania and bruxism)may be not a relevant factor for TMD occurred.2.From the dynamic characteristics of occlusion, the abnormal tooth wear and occlusal interference may be the risk factors for the occurrence of TMD;CR-CO may be not a relevant factor for the occurrence of TMD.3.We should be alert to the occurrence of TMD when there are abnormal tooth wear and occlusal interference in the clinical work.
