Lonicerae Japonicae Flos is one of the medicinal and edible Traditional Chinese Medicines, possessing wide pharmacological actions, such as clearing heat and removing toxicity, dispelling wind and heat.It has a wide range of applications and a large market demand. While,Lonicerae Japonicae Flos is susceptible to diseases and pests frequently during planting, and chemical pesticides are the most effective means to control them.Since there are neither pesticide registered varieties nor residue limit standards in L.Japonica, farmers abused pesticide seriously. To ensure the safe use of L.Japonica,it is important to provide effective supervision and control on the basis of understanding pesticide residues in L.Japonica.In order to understand the pesticide pollution of L.Japonica from the origin and manage the quality of L.Japonica effectively, the residue of forbidden and restricted pesticides monitoring particularly by nation were given priority to screen.61 forbidden and restricted pesticides and metabolites were selected as screening indicators and an analytical method group for these pesticides was established in L.Japonica.The planting resources of L.Japonica in the whole country were investigated, and then representative samples were collected and the residue situation was investigated. What’s more, the residue limit standards for forbidden and restricted pesticides in L.Japonica were studied. The results were as follows:1.The analytical method group of forbidden and restricted pesticides in L.Japonica was established, which was the method determining 18 organochloride and pyrethroid pesticides by GC-ECD,the method determining 23 organophosphorus by GC-FPD,the method determining 44 pesticides by GC-MS/SIM,the method determining 44 pesticides by GC-MS/MS and the method determining 43 pesticides as well as metabolites by LC-MS/MS.Through methodological investigations, the average recoveries of 5 methods were 68.2~117.3%、80.2~99.4%、66.3~106.0%、68.4~117.5%and 60.2~102.6%,with the relative standard deviation(RSD)less than 20.0%.All the methods met the requirements of pesticide residue analysis. And they could be testified to each other to ensure the accuracy of qualitative and quantitative.2.The planting of L.Japonica were investigated. On the basis of the planting area and yield information of each production area,64 representative samples were collected, and then detected by the established methods to survey the residue situation. The result showed that for all samples,15 pesticides were detected, and organophosphorus was detected more. The amounts of detection were mostly in the range of 0.001 to 0.5 mg/kg.The detection rates of chlorpyrifos, carbofuran and omethoate were higher than others.3.According to the method in The Chinese Pharmacopoeia and The Eurpean Pharmacopoeia, based on the dietary intake of L.Japonica, the maximum residue limit theoretical values of forbidden and restricted pesticides were calculated. Then the safety evaluation based on the theoretical maximum residue limit was carried out.The result showed that the overall safety rate of the samples was generally.26 pesticides were not detected,so they cause no risk to the human health. While, among the 15 detected pesticides, isocarbophos, endosulfan, cournaphos, methomyl, aldicarb and terbufos had no obvious risk to the human since the lower concentration of detection,methamidophos,chlorpyrifos,fenvalerate,phorate,isofenphos-methyl,triazophos and carbofuran had small risk, and fipronil as well as omethoate had large risk. Thus, the supervision of these pesticides residues should be focused.4.Reference to the standards of "Guidelines for the preparation of pesticide maximum residues in food" and "Chinese Pharmacopoeia",15 detected forbidden and restricted pesticides were used for the dietary intake risk assessment of long-term and short-term in L.Japonica,respectively.The results indicated that the risks of long-term and short-term dietary intake of pesticides were acceptable. On this basis, the limit values of 15 pesticides in L.Japonica were preliminarily proposed. The study could provide reference for the quality control of L.Japonica,so it has very important practical value.
