| Objective:To investigate the Correlation between serum uric acid(UA),25-hydroxy vitamin D(25-[OH]D)levels and acute ischemic post-stroke depression,so as to provide clinical theoretical basis for early prediction, prevention and treatment. Methods:This study collected the patients who were newly diagnosed with acute ischemic stroke for the first time in Neurology Department of our Hospital.Patients’ age, gender, past history, family history, lesion location, vascular risk factors were collected.Biochemical indicators were collected and detected on the next morning after admission, including liver function, renal function, blood lipid, blood glucose, electrolytes, serum uric acid and serum 25-hydroxy vitamin D levels.Patients were divided into PSD group and non-PSD group according to the diagnostic criteria of depression(CCMD-3)from 2 weeks to 2 months after stroke.Patients were evaluated by 17 items of Hamilton Depression Rating Scale(HAMD-17)and the degree of PSD was divided into mild, moderate, and severe grade based on the scoring results. Then serum uric acid,25-hydroxy vitamin D levels and other indicators were compared between the two groups, and the correlation of the degree of depression and serum uric acid,25-hydroxy vitamin D levels were analyzed.Results:(1)There was no significant difference in age, gender, smoking, drinking, and non-depression among the two groups in the general information(P> 0.05).The HAMD-17 scores of Depression group was significantly higher than non-depression group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01),and the incidence of post-stroke depression in the left hemisphere of the brain was higher than the right side, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).(2)There was significant difference between those with one or without chronic disease and those with two or more chronic diseases(P <0.05).(3)The levels of serum uric acid and 25-hydroxy vitamin D in post-stroke depression group were lower than those in non-post-stroke depression group, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.01).(4)Correlation analysis found that the degree of depression has negative related(r =-0.347,P = 0.009;r =-0.469,P <0.01)with serum uric acid and 25-hydroxyvitamin D levels.Conclusion:(1)The occurrence of PSD is negatively correlated with serum uric acid and 25-hydroxy vitamin D levels.Patients with ischemic stroke with low serum uric acid and 25-hydroxy vitamin D levels may be more likely to develop PSD;(2)The degree of depression in patients was negatively correlated with serum uric acid and 25-hydroxy vitamin D levels. The lower the level of serum uric acid and 25-hydroxy vitamin D,the more severe the degree of depression would be;(3)There was no significant correlation between the occurrence of PSD and age, gender, and other factors. There was a certain correlation between PSD and the number of chronic diseases. |
