| Objective : To compare the therapeutic effects between Immediate Extended Latissimus Dorsi Myocutaneous Flap Reconstruction(IELDMFR)after Nipple-areolar-Sparing Mastectomy(NSM)and Modified Radical Mastectomy(MRM)in breast cancer,as well as to analyze the safety, surgical skills of IELDMFR in these patients. Methods : The clinicopthological data of breast cancer patients who had undergone IELDMFR after NSM(observation group,32 cases)and MRM(control group,34cases)in The First Affiliated Hospital of Bengbu Medical college from January 2009 to December 2012 were retrospectively analyzed. The rate of complications, prognosis and satisfaction of the patients between the two groups were compared. Results:All patients were followed-up for a period ranging from 18 to 60 month with a median 44.In the observation group, the complication occurring rate and 3-year disease-free survival rates were 37.5% and 87.5%.Local recurrence, distant metastasis occurred in 2,3 cases, respectively. In the control group, the complication occurring rate and 3-year disease-free survival rates were 34.4% and 91.2%.Local recurrence, distant metastasis occurred in 3,3 cases, respectively. No statistical difference was noted between the two groups(P>0.05).The cosmetic satisfaction rate was 90.6% in observation group patients including excellent in 23 cases, good in 6 cases and fair in3 cases, respectively. Conclusion: 1.No apparent statistical difference in the comparison of the complications occurring rate, local recurrence and long-term survival rate was observed between the two groups’ patients who underwent IELDMFR after NSM and MRM.2.The reconstructed breast was natural, beautiful and symmetric to the the other. This method is worth to spread. |
