ABM Based Research On Household Unused,Unwanted Or Expired Medication Recycling System

If the household unused,unwanted or expired medications are not handled properly,it will cause serious adverse consequences.The actual situation of these medications recycling in China is not ideal.Up to now,relevant researches in this field have neglected its characteristics as a complex social system.This paper constructs the household unused,unwanted or expired medications recycling system and studies the evolution of the system based on ABM,and provides reference for decision makers.Firstly,this paper makes a comparative analysis of the current recycling situation of household unused,unwanted or expired medications in developed countries and China.Three main problems that affect the recycling effect in China are identified,which are the legal policy,logistics system and residents’ participation enthusiasm.Based on the result,the characteristics and requirements of the recycling system are summarized.Professional recycling center and professional recycling agency are proposed as the main entity of logistics and the core operating entity.Secondly,this paper makes an overall design of the recycling system on the basis of the foreign experience,including the logistics system,operation system and supervision system.Finally,the social behavior model of the household unused,unwanted or expired medications recycling system is built based on ABM method,including the related attributes and interactions of the Agents,consumers,government,professional recycling agencies,pharmaceutical production enterprises,pharmaceutical retail enterprises,etc.Modeling.The evolution process of recycling system in the six districts of Beijing is simulated in different policy scenarios.The results show that no matter whether the resources are sufficient or not,in the three directions of safety and environmental protection publicity and education,construction and improvement of laws and regulations,and economic support and policy subsidies,the more directions government choose to carry out the work,the better the system will perform in a comprehensive way.The government should invest more resources in more directions or disperse limited resources in more directions,instead of focusing resources in one direction.The research results of this paper can be used to guide the construction of household waste drug recycling system and provide reference for decision makers.The research method of recycling system can also be used as a reference for similar research.The results can be used to guide the construction of the actual system.The research method of the recycling system provide reference for the study of similar problems.
