Objectives:To explore the correlation between plantar heel pain, calcaneal spurs and the calcaneus arch angle,Lateral talocalcaneal angle,as well as the correlation between plantar heel pain and calcaneal spurs,to provide a scientific basis for the study of the cause of plantar heel pain. Methods:The imaging data of patients with Weight-bearing calcaneal lateral X-ray examination in the first affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from January 2018 to November 2018 were retrospectively studied. The patients were divided into four groups according to whether they had heel pain or calcaneal spur. The incidence of heel pain was studied by measuring the calcaneus arch angle,Lateral talocalcaneal angle. Results:There was no statistically significant difference in age(p=0.098)and gender(X~2=3.482,p=0.362)between the four groups. There was no statistically significant difference between the calcaneal spurs and the heel pain(X~2=2.136,p=0.144)There was a statistically significant difference between the calcaneus arch angle and Lateral talocalcaneal angle between the pain group and the painless group(t=-4.772 4.908 p<0.05)There was a statistically significant difference in the between the calcaneus arch angle between the calcaneal spurs group and the non-calcaneal spurs group(t=2.766 p<0.05)There was no significant difference betweenthe calcaneus arch angle andLateral talocalcaneal angle between the calcaneal spurs group and the non-calcaneal spurs group(t=0.600p>0.05)Conclusion:heel pain was not associated with age, gender and calcaneal spurs.Compared with the heel painless group, the calcaneus arch angle of the heel pain group was smaller and the Lateral talocalcaneal angle was larger.Compared with the non-calcaneal spurs group, the calcaneus arch angle of the calcaneal spurs group was larger, and the Lateral talocalcaneal angle was smiller.
