| Objective: The aim of this study was to observe the clinical efficacy of spreading moxibustion combined with acupuncture during the treatment of sequelae of pelvic inflammatory disease(cold-damp stagnation type),and to make the random statistics of the recurrence rate after the treatment. We’re trying to find a new way that can alleviate SPID and improve patients’ situations with reducing the recurrence rate.Method: According to the diagnostic criteria of both Chinese and Western medicine about the CPID and the inclusion and exclusion criteria in this study,we select 72 different conditions patients. Then they were picked up by 2 groups randomly. The treatment group is abdominal moxibustion combined with acupuncture therapy, the control group is oral Shaofu Zhuyu Granules. Both of them were undergoing a 3-menstrual cycle as a complete treatment.Results:1.According to the general information comparison: There was not obvious relationship between two groups about ages, duration of disease and severity of the disease.Data analysis turn out to be P>0.05.It means that both of the treatments make a sense.2.After one courses of treatment, theVAS score,TCM symptom integral, local sign integral and comprehensive integral contrast treatment were significantly decreased before and after treatment, and there were significant differences before and after therapy(P< 0.05).The results showed that both treatments could relieve pain and improve the clinical symptoms and signs of patients.3.After one courses of treatment, the curative effect, local signs and total curative effect of TCM syndromes in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group, which showed that the clinical effect of moxibustion combined with acupuncture group was better than that of oral Shaofu Zhuyu Granules group.4.After treatment, the two groups of TCM main disease integral comparison: The treatment group was superior to the control group P<(0.05)in improving the pain and the amount of lower abdomen.Comparison of TCM sub-disease points: The treatment group was superior to the control group P<(0.05)in improving the menstrual abdominal pain and cold limb cooling of patients.Conclusion:1.Through comparison the clinical effects between before and after the treatment, the use of abdominal moxibustion combined with acupuncture therapy in chronic pelvic patients is better than the control group.2.Through comparison the integration results in pretherapy and post-treatment,the use of abdominal moxibustion combined with acupuncture therapy for the patients can significantly improve the patient’s lower abdominal cold pain, increased leucorrhea, menstrual abdominal pain and cold limb cooling and other symptoms.3.Both the two groups of treatment methods have great effects on SPID. |
