Study On The Compatible Pattern Of TCM Prescriptions Based On Data Mining Technology For Treating Stroke With Speechlessness

Purposes: By collecting and formulating the TCM prescriptions for treating stroke with speechlessness from Dictionary of Traditional Chinese Medicine Prescriptions,in order to conduct data mining and use the theory of TCM to analyze the compatible pattern of TCM prescriptions for treating stroke with speechlessness.Which may provide new drug-using ideas for clinical treatment for stroke with speechlessness and improve its clinical efficacy.Methods: It is based on literature research and data analysis.By collecting the prescriptions for the treatment of stroke with speechlessness from Dictionary of Traditional Chinese Medicine Prescriptions,then using Microsoft Office Excel 2010 software and TCM Heritage Support System to establish a database of “Treatment of Strokes with Speechlessness”,in order to analyze statistics from TCM Heritage Support System database.Results: A total of 288 prescriptions were collected and screened,which include 272 flavors of drugs,with a total frequency of 3140 times.The drugs which has the frequency of use(>60 times)are 12 flavors: including Divaricate Saposhnikovia Root,Liquorice Root,Fresh Ginger,Szechuan Lovage Rhizome,Cassia Bark,Prepared Common Monkshood Daughter Root,Ephedra sinica Stapf,Panax ginseng C.A.Mey,Angelica sinensis(Oliv.)Diels,Moschus berezovskii Flerov,Angelica pubescens Maxim.f.biserrata Shan et Yuan,Gastrodia elata Blume.Which include following classes of drugs: dispelling the wind;restoring deficiency;calming the liver to stop the wind;stopping cough,resolving phlegm and relieving asthma;activating blood circulation to dissipate blood stasis and warming the interior.There are 23 groups of common medicine patterns(support degree ? 40),the first twelve are: Szechuan Lovage Rhizome and Divaricate Saposhnikovia Root,Szechuan Lovage Rhizome and Ephedra sinica Stapf,Divaricate Saposhnikovia Root and Liquorice Root,Ephedra sinica Stapf and Divaricate Saposhnikovia Root,Ephedra sinica Stapf and Cassia Bark,Szechuan Lovage Rhizome and Cassia Bark,Divaricate Saposhnikovia Root and Cassia Bark,Szechuan Lovage Rhizome and Liquorice Root,Fresh Ginger andLiquorice Root,Divaricate Saposhnikovia Root and Prepared Common Monkshood Daughter Root,Panax ginseng C.A.Mey and Liquorice Root.Concluding main patterns of syndrome are followed: 186 exogenous wind syndrome cases;131 phlegm obstruction syndrome cases;94 blood stasis syndrome cases;81 yang deficiency syndrome cases;74 qi deficiency syndrome cases;66 internal wind syndrome(liver wind)cases;66 kidney deficiency syndrome cases;64 phlegm-heat syndrome cases;43 blood deficiency syndrome cases,etc.The dosage forms are mainly based on decoction(116)and pills(98),then powder(55).Conclusion:Syndrome type: External wind syndrome(wind attack)is the most common syndrome type of stroke.Stagnation,blood stasis,yang deficiency,qi deficiency,internal wind(liver wind),kidney deficiency,phlegm heat,blood deficiency,etc.are also main types of stroke.Therapy: Start with wind and blood,focusing on disppelling the wind and blood circulation,supporting by warming the interior and tonifing deficienccy;.Medication: Eliminating medicinal materials(including diaphoretic medicine and medicine for rheumatism)is the most commonly used medicine for treating stroke;qi-restoratives medicine,phlegm-resolving medicine,promoting blood circulation and removing phlegm medicine,and respiratory medicine are also the main drugs for treating stroke;In addition,according to the condition of illness,the following medicine could be supprted to the prescription: such as inducing resuscitation medicine,heat-clearing medicine,interior-warming drug.This is also reflected in the compatibility of medicine.
