Clinical Observation Of Self-made Qingxin Huatan Decoction In The Treatment Of Phlegm-Fire Disturbing Heart Palpitation

Objective:This study aimed at the etiology and pathogenesis of palpitation(arrhythmia)with phlegm-fire disturbing heart syndrome.The prescription Qingxin Huatan Decoction was formulated to observe the clinical effect of this method on patients with palpitation.By recording the anxiety scale,the correlation between palpitation and emotion was analyzed to provide an effective treatment for emotional-related palpitation.Method:Sixty cases of phlegm-fire disturbing heart palpitation in outpatient and ward of Changzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected.The cases were numbered according to the order of the cases included.The odd number was added to the control group,and the even number was added to the treatment group,with 30 cases in each group.The control group was treated with betaloc sustained-release tablets.Treatment group:Qingxin Huatan Decoction was given on the basis of Western medicine treatment.The course of treatment was two weeks.By observing the changes of related safety index,TCM syndrome score,Self-rating Anxiety Scale score and dynamic electrocardiogram before and after treatment,the clinical efficacy of this method for patients with palpitation was analyzed.Result:After 2 weeks of treatment,the curative effect of the two groups before and after treatment was observed.1.Both groups can reduce the number of palpitation attacks in varying degrees.After treatment,the single and total scores of TCM symptoms are lower than those before treatment.The total effective rate of TCM symptoms is 66.7%in the control group and 96.7%in the treatment group.There is a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).The curative effect of this prescription is remarkable.The treatment group is obviously better than the control group.2.The treatment group was superior to the control group in reducing the occurrence of palpitation and chest distress symptoms,premature beats and paroxysmal atrial fibrillation as indicated by dynamic electrocardiogram(P<0.05).3.The treatment group was better than the control group before and after the Self-rating Anxiety Scale score,the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05);the treatment group could also significantly improve the depression scale score,there was no significant difference between the control group and the treatment group(P>0.05).4.There were no abnormalities in the safety indexes of the two groups during the treatment.Conclusion:Qingxin Huatan Decoction is used to treat palpitation of phlegm-fire disturbing heart.It has obvious effect on improving palpitation symptoms,chest tightness,irritability,insomnia,dry mouth,constipation and other complications.It also has obvious effect on patients with anxiety.Dynamic electrocardiogram shows that the number of arrhythmias is significantly reduced.
