| ObjectiveBy collecting the CT data of COM patients and cholesteatoma patients,a standardized measurement method was established on the basis of three-dimensional CT reconstruction. The length, angle, and other parameters of the Eustachian tube were accurately measured and compared. To compare and analyze the features of Eustachian tube in different populations.MethodsTwenty-five cases(50 ears)of sensorineural hearing loss were collected for CT data of the temporal bone and the multi-planar reconstruction was performed through the GEPACS workstation. The measurement items included the Eustachian tube long axis, cartilage segment, bone segment length,Reid’s plane Eustachian tube angle, and the tubotympanic angle.Analyze the measured data and adjust the measurement method.Thirty-one patients(44 ears)with chronic suppurative otitis media and 32 patients(38 ears)with cholesteatoma in the middle ear were included for the CT data of the temporal bone. All patients were diagnosed by clinical and postoperative pathology.Eustachian tube parameters were measured and statistical analysis was performed on the measured data.Results1.Establish a standardized measurement method and flow for Eustachian tube parameters.2.Obtain Eustachian tube parameter measurement reference.3.The length of the Eustachian tube segment in women was lower in the chronic suppurative otitis media group than in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant.4.Male Reed’s plane Eustachian tube angle in the chronic suppurative otitis media group was smaller than the control group, and in the middle ear cholesteatoma group was smaller than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant.5.The length of the Eustachian tube cartilage segment, the length of the long axis, and the tubotympanic angle were not significantly different between the groups and genders.Conclusion1.Measurement of Eustachian tube on the basis of CT three-dimensional reconstruction is reliable, simple and accurate.2.Based on this method,it can effectively display the difference of Eustachian tube parameters among different populations.3.Eustachian tube measurement differences and characteristics, can be used as the basis for subsequent analysis and interpretation of Eustachian tube related diseases for clinical diagnosis and treatment to provide a reference. |
