| Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy of Lichtenstein and tension-free repair of the hernia ring in patients undergoing tension-free repair in the inguinal hernia in order to provide a reference for the selection of surgical methods in clinical practice. Methods:The clinical data of patients with inguinal hernia treated in our hospital from January 2015 to January 2016 were retrospectively analyzed.Patients were divided into observation group and control group according to different surgical methods. The observation group was treated with Li Jinstan without tension. For hernia repair, patients in the control group underwent tension-free repair with a hernia ring.Analyze and compare the operation time, clinical curative effect, postoperative hospital stay days and dressing change times between the two groups.Incidence of foreign body sensation in the inguinal region, pain around the incision, and postoperative wound infection, seroma, and other complications. Results:The clinical efficacy of both groups was 100%at one month after surgery, and the cure rate was the same. The average operation time in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).The average time for first-time ventilation in the observation group was smaller than that in the control group. There was no significant difference between the observation group and the control group(P>0.05).The average length of stay in the observation group was lower than that in the control group. There was no significant difference between the observation group and the control group(P>0.05).The average number of patients in the observation group after the operation was lower than that in the control group. There was a statistically significant difference(P>0.05);The average time to complete normal activities after surgery in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The pain scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group at 1 week postoperatively, and the difference was statistically significant(2.1±0.5 vs 2.7±0.6,t=4.531,P<0.01).In the observation group, there was 1 case of subcutaneous scrotal edema,1 case of paresthesia in the inguinal region,4 cases of postoperative urinary retention,1 case of seroma in the control group,2 cases of sensory abnormality in the inguinal region, and 5 cases of postoperative urinary retention. In 1 patient with pain, there was no significant difference in the incidence of postoperative complications between the two groups(6/37,16.22%vs 9/32,28.12%,χ~2=1.430,P=0.232).The above-mentioned complications occurred in all patients according to the classification of Clavien-Dindo surgical complications. They were classified into grades I-II.After active treatment, they were cured within one month after surgery. All patients were followed up to 6months postoperatively. There were no recurrences in the two groups. There was no difference between the two groups. Conclusions:Lichtenstein surgery and hernia ring filling tension-free repair in the treatment of inguinal hernia clinical efficacy is quite, with a higher cure rate and less recurrence rate. Both surgical methods have certain complications after surgery, but are cured after active treatment. Therefore, both surgical methods are safe and effective.Lichtenstein can significantly reduce pain in the patient’s groin area and has a positive effect on improving postoperative patient quality of life. |
