| There is a connection between osteoporosis and thyroid diseases.The results of in vivo and in vitro studies showed that collagen peptide(CP),calcium chelated collagen peptide(CP-Ca),calcium chelated amino acid(AA-Ca)could prevent and treat osteoporosis in ovariectomized rats.In this study,the same batch of ovariectomized rats were used to investigate the effects of the above substances on the improvement of bone mass and the improvement of blood glucose and lipid levels and thyroid function in ovariectomized rats,the effect of this improvement was compared with that of 17 beta estradiol(E2),and the effect of CP and CP-Ca was compared,the effects of CP-Ca and AA-Ca were compared。Maillard reaction can enhance the antioxidant activity of collagen peptide,and the damage caused by oxygen free radicals can lead to many diseases,so in this study,Maillard reaction products(CP-X)of collagen peptide and xylose were prepared,Then the effect of thyroid function and the improvement of blood glucose and blood lipid and the effect of collagen peptide were compared.This study investigated reductive method of potassium ferricyanide,the responsive surface analysis was used to establish the mathematical models,the best sugar is xylose,the reducing power of the product was significantly higher than that of glucose,lactose,galactose and maltose(P<0.01).The optimum condition was determined as the mass ratio of xylose to peptide was 3 to 1,the initial pH was 12,react for 3.5 h at 100℃,under this technology,the reductive power of the product reached to 0.8102(which the 0 point was CP solution).120 female rats aged 10 weeks were randomly divided into groups according to their weight,1 weeks after operation,the sham operation group and the model group were treated with distilled water,injection of 17 beta estradiol into estrogen group.CP,CP-Ca,CP-X,AA-Ca were high,medium and low doses were treated.After 8 weeks,blood was taken from the rat’s eyes and killed,finded submandibular gland swelling,It was then cut off and the gland index was calculated and the pathological sections were observed and then observed.Serum preparation,one part was used to measure fasting glucose,total cholesterol,triglyceride,high density lipoprotein,low density lipoprotein;Part of the thyroid hormone,thyroid stimulating hormone,thyroid function and serum estrogen levels.The results showed that compared with the SHAM group,the submandibular gland index of OVX group was significantly increased(p<0.01),serous epithelial degeneration of the duct and narrow lumen;Fasting glucose levels decreased(p<0.01);Total cholesterol,triglyceride,low density lipoprotein,high density lipoprotein(p<0.01);Elevated levels of thyroid hormones,thyroid stimulating hormone,serum estrogen levels(p<0.01).However,CP,CP-Ca,CP-X,and AA-Ca had estrogenic effects,these changes can be reversed due to estrogen deficiency,The indexes were restored to the level of SHAM group level,the best recovery effect was the short peptide and peptide calcium chelate.The peptide xylose reaction product increased the antioxidant activity of collagen peptide,however,the improvement of the above symptoms is less than that of collagen peptides.Collagen peptide is an estrogen action animal protein,safety without side effects,collagen peptide can Replace Estrogen be used for osteoporosis and osteoporosis caused by glucose and lipid metabolism disorders,thyroid dysfunction,submandibular gland lesions and other diseases. |
