The Qing Dynasty And Before Clinical Application Of Xuanzhong (GB39)

Objective:To systematically collect and sort out the literature about Xuanzhong(GB39)before Qing Dynasty and summarize the clinical application of Xuanzhong(GB39).Methods:The ancient books in the Chinese Medical Code(4th edition)were used as the searching source to standardize the names of the disease and the acupoints,formulate the inclusion criteria,retrieve the clauses of the Xuanzhong acupoint and establish the relevant database.SPSS 19.0 software was used to analyze and summarize the single acupoint of the Xuanzhong acupoint and its compatibility with the main treatment,the dominant diseases and the compatibility of acupoints.Regularity and application of acupuncture moxibustion.Result:There are 27 kinds of disease syndromes treated by single acupoint,of which the dominant ones are arthralgia,abdominal pain,palpitation,stomachache and fullness.There are 39 kinds of compatibility syndrome,9 kinds of dominant syndrome are arthralgia,apoplexy,malaria,typhoid fever,palpitation,sores,syncope,hypochondriac pain and headache,and there are a total of 134 compatibility acupoints,including 130 meridian acupoints,4 odd acupoints,113 specific acupoints,17 non-specific acupoints in 130 meridian acupoints,and the top 10 compatibility acupoints are Zusanli(ST36),Qu Chi(LI11),Hegu(LI4),Baihui(DU20),Shenshu(BL23),Fengshi(GB31),Kunlun(BL60),Jianyu(LI15),Yang Ling Quan(GB34)and Fengchi(GB20)Needling,moxibustion,pricking bleeding,cautery therapy and pressing are the common needling and moxibustion methods.Conclusion:The characteristics of Xuanzhong(GB39)acupoint in treating diseases,acupoint compatibility and acupuncture and moxibustion can provide a greater reference value for clinical acupuncture,teaching and scientific research.
