ObjectiveThe expression of IL-25,IL-33,total IgE and EOS in peripheral blood of patients with atopic dermatitis(AD)and normal persons were detected to explore their role in the occurrence and development of AD.MethodsPeripheral blood was collected from 34 AD patients and 17 healthy people. The expression of IL-25 and IL-33 in plasma was detected by ELISA,and the results of IgE and EOS in blood cell analysis were retained. The expressions of IL-25,IL-33,IgE and EOS were compared and analyzed, and the correlation between them and AD was explored.Results1.Compared with the healthy group, the levels of IL-25,IL-33,IgE and EOS in AD group were significantly higher(P < 0.01).2.Compared with mild AD group, the IgE content in moderate and severe group increased significantly(P < 0.05),while the IL-25,IL-33 content and EOS number in moderate and severe group increased, but there was no statistical difference.3.Compared with the group younger than 2 years old,the levels of IL-33 and EOS increased, the levels of IL-25 and IgE decreased, and there was no statistical significance;the levels of IL-33 increased significantly in the group older than 12 years old(P < 0.01),the levels of IgE and EOS increased, and the levels of IL-25 decreased, with no statistical significance.Compared with the 2-12 years old group, the average content of IL-33 increased significantly(P < 0.05),while the average content of IL-25,IgE and EOS increased significantly in the group older than 12 years old, with no statistical difference.4.Compared with the group without family allergy history, the levels of IL-33,IL-25,IgE and EOS increased slightly in the group with family allergy history(P < 0.05).5.Compared with the normal IgE group, the average number of EOS increased significantly(P < 0.01),while the contents of IL-25 and IL-33 increased slightly, with no statistical difference.6.IL-25 was positively correlated with IL-33,IgE,EOS and SCORAD scores(P < 0.05);IL-33 was positively correlated with IgE and SCORAD scores(P < 0.05),but not with EOS(r = 0.211);IgE was positively correlated with EOS and SCORAD scores(P < 0.05);EOS was positively correlated with SCORAD scores(P < 0.01).Conclusions1.The expression of IL-25 and IL-33 increased in peripheral blood, which may be involved in the pathogenesis of atopic dermatitis caused by Th1 and Th2 immune reactions together with IgE and EOS.2.The expression levels of IL-25,IL-33,IgE and EOS were positively correlated with the severity of the disease.
