Objective: To detect the expression levels of CXCL9,CXCL10 and CXCL11 in peripheral blood serum of patients with vitiligo and the expression levels of three chemokines before and after the treatment of transplantation of cultured autologous melanocytes, discuss the relevance between the expression of chemokines and clinical significance. Methods: ELISA was used to detect the levels of CXCL9,CXCL10,CXCL11 in peripheral blood serum,a total of 50 patients with vitiligo(experimental group)and 30 cases of healthy controls(control group)was included.13 of 50 patients took TCAM.Then we analyzed the relevance between the expression levels of chemokines and different stages, types, duration and surgery.RESULTS: The expressions of CXCL9,CXCL10 and CXCL11 in serum of the experimental group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.01),and their expression in serum of all the patients in progressive vitiligo were higher than those in stable vitiligo(P<0.01).The expression levels of CXCL9,CXCL10 and CXCL11 in patients with universal vitiligo were significantly higher than those in patients with localized and generalized vitiligo(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in CXCL9,CXCL10,and CXCL11 expression between patients with different disease duration(P>0.05).Serum CXCL9,CXCL10,and CXCL11 were decreased in all patients receiving TCAM(P<0.05).Conclusion: We detected the expression levels of CXCL9,CXCL10 and CXCL11,confirmed their expression in vitiligo patients serum was significantly higher than healthy control group, and the expression level of all three chemokines in progressive vitiligo patients was higher than those in patients with stable vitiligo, and CXCL9,CXCL10 and CXCL11 levels significantly decreased after TCAM.The results are consistent with the results of previous reports, therefore,we suppose that CXCL9,CXCL10,CXCL11 can induce and relocate lymphocytes through CXCL10 / CXCR3,intensify the autoimmune reaction, causing thedamage of melanocytes and thus the loss of melanin.Besides,CXCL9,CXCL10,CXCL11 is related to the trigger of vitiligo, activity, severity of disease and surgery. Therefore,it is likely that CXCL9,CXCL10 and CXCL11 may be a potential markers for the diagnosis of vitiligo, and may become effective markers guiding treatment to a certain extent.
