Clinical Application Of CEREC Ceramic Onlay In The Treatment Of Molar

PurposeTo study the clinical effect of CEREC ceramic onlay in the patients with root canal therapy molar residual crown.MethodsFrom January 2017 to March 2018,the sample source was 34 cases of molar residual crown.The tooth has one or more cusps ruined,or one or more cusps that form a thin,weak tip and is treated with root canal.The patients restored with resin onlay were included in the reference group,and the ceramic onlay prosthesis of CEREC was included in the experimental group.The data difference between these two groups was analyzed.Oral examinations were performed before treatment,and the gingival bleeding index and the gingival index were recorded.Six months after treatment,the clinical results of the USPHS standard,the gingival bleeding index,the gingival index,and the effective rate of restoration were performed.The data differences between these two groups were compared and analyzed.ResultsBefore treatment,there was no significant difference in gingival bleeding index and gingival index between the reference group and the experimental group.Six months after treatment,the gingival bleeding index,gingival index,and USPHS standard results of restoration contrast reference group were statistically significant(p<0.05)between the experimental group and the reference group.ConclusionIt is worthwhile to apply CEREC ceramic inlay in the treatment of patients with root canal therapy molar residual crown.
